People are naive to think that the commercial meat factories are the only local sources for meats. I think he was just careless and truly got clen on his system by accident, maybe by eating the dreaded tainted meat (which IS a real, well documented ongoing problem in mexico)

I mean, Canelo wouldn't have gotten caught if it wasn't for the VADA testing that he himself requested

if he was truly doping, it'd be incredibly ****** to request additional testing, therefore increasing his chances of getting caught by a tenfold

If Canelo was truly doping, he would have dismissed VADA testing and just do the normal antidoping tests, like Juan Manuel MarPEDS did after hooking up with Memo Heroidia. and GGG would have to accept it because ginger is the a-side

2-3% of athletes from Mexico get busted for Clenbuterol. Canelo has been a pro for 10+ years, and never had a problem with tainted meat. Acting like he suddenly can't eat at a restaurant is ridiculous. He, along with hundreds of other athletes including boxers, are fine and never get busted for 'tainted meat'.

In this case, either he cheated, or he was a complete imbecile. Don't try to exonerate him.

It doesn't justify a positive test but there is already a precedent set for how the testing bodies deal with tainted meat cases.

And for sure it doesn't justify calling Canelo a cheater if this is something that happened accidentally.

He doesn't have to give up on eating cheap meat, but tainted meat has been an issue in Mexico for years. Like Conte said, there's no way Canelo and his team didn't see this coming. Couldn't he have just have held his training camp in the states? Hell, he's doing that right now.
