What's the point in all these Hatton hate threads?

What's the ****ing point in just continually slating Ricky Hatton? The guy has won three world titles at two different weights in three consecutive fights and beaten one of the best 140 pounders of all time. If he was a ****ing Yank or Mexican he wouldnt be getting all this hate. Is he over-rated, will Mayweather kill him, why does he clinch all the time blah blah blah blah. It's ****ing boring! Have people got nothing better to do with their lives than slate a fighter who is achieving a ****ing lot in this sport. Why not talk about upcoming fights, or fantasy match ups or ANYTHING! All these hate threads - and I mean ALL of them, not just the one's about Hatton - should be banned cos it's **** all to do with boxing. Most of the time it's thinly veiled xenophobia - it's generally overseas (ie not from the States) fighters that get the hate on here. It's **** and should ****ing stop.

Believing a fighter is over-rated is not "hating."
Believing a fighter is going to lose to a certain opponant is not "hating."

For example: I really like Cotto and hope he does well. But do I believe he's drastically overrated by Peurto Rican fans? Yes.

      It goes both ways.
There are many on here who root for him, & overrate him, simply because of where he's from.

Hatton is the most under-rated fighter in the world, now that Calzaghe is getting credit for his skills and not hated because of his nationality.

Hatton to me is very similar to Miguel Cotto. They have somewhat similar styles and they have huge fan bases. However to me they're still just good fighters. I don't buy into the hype of either of them. Cotto still has yet to beat a significant name yet people shout his names from the rooftops as if he had beaten everybody there is to beat.

Hatton is a different story because he actually has a significant name on his record so I can see him having more credibility than Cotto. However his last performance against Collozo(spell check) was pretty lackluster and I need to see better next time.

the hatton hating on this forumn is rediculous. hes a great fighter. people call him a lazy fatass on this forumn, because he balloons up in between fights. to call somone fat or lazy, when they are in better shape then u'll ever be, and have accomplished more in a sport then u ever will, is extremely wrong.

its not just calling him over-rated. people bash on him ALL the time. Everytime the name Hatton is brought up, 3 posts follow it saying how bad he is and crap. it really gets on my nerves.
