LUCAS BROWNE is presented SATURDAY, MAR. 24 at 6:00 p.m. (live ET/tape-delayed PT) with a same-day replay at 10:00 p.m. (ET/PT) from the landmark O2 venue in London. The HBO Sports team will call all the action, which will be available in HDTV, closed-captioned for the hearing-impaired and presented in Spanish on HBO Latino.

      This is fantastic. A fan tilt. While I don't see either of these two as top tier HW talent, there is no doubt this is a serious tussle for positioning for a big payday in 2019. Very important to both these men.

        Not a fight that will satisfy the boxing snobs among us but if it's anything like Whyte's fight with Chisora, it should be a blast for everyone else.

            My opinion but.. no way HBO picks up this fight w o some sort of agreement that they are going to get Joshua when his contract is up. Not hating on this fight one but, why? Why this fight in HBO? Without Joshua or Wilder on your side, are either Whyte or Brown strong enough to be the face of HBO heavyweight boxing ?

            On the flip side, I guess you can’t win if you don’t play....

              See taking Whyte to HBO makes me nervous about the direction Hearn is going with AJ.

              Come on Hearn, don't take AJ to HBO and cost us the AJ/Wilder fight. I believed what I read last week.

                  As long as Showtime bids more for Joshua they will get him.The problem for SHO is however if HBO make a close enough bid and offer extra dates to HBO for Matchroom USA.Hearn will surely advise AJ's Team to go with HBO.

                    Agree with you 100%. I'm not mad either at AJ getting the most he can. I just selfishly want to see them fight next.
