i disagree, if people are only picking fighters to cheer on because they have the shade of skin colour that they like then in my eyes that makes that person a racist. they dont have to be directly attacking other races.

You ever think styles could play into that though? I supported Kovalev over Ward because Ward is a dirty fighter with a ****ty style like Hopkins. I'm against rooting for fighters due to racial or nationality. Certain styles I will always root against like Bhop, Ward, Porter, etc... that are dirty and ugly to watch.

I could understand it due to certain styles but it's telling when they always love the eastern euros and almost always support them more than they support other Americans. Most of the time those same people who hate mayweather, ward,etc don't support the charlos or wilder despite them have entertaining styles.

This is a touchy subject that a lot would avoid. Race does play a part in the way some people pick or support a fighter. Never thought it was true until recently on boxingscene, I sense certain poster only back certain fighters based on the colour of the boxers skin. I don’t know if it’s sad or not but for me I find it weird.
