Think Wilders main chance is to KO AJ which he definately can do. Can't see him outboxing him for large periods of this bout

"Wilder goes crazy at times when he hurts somebody and it looks very amateurish, but I think people focus too much on those particular moments when he gets somebody hurt and he acts like a fool, but before that to hurt them, he’s actually a decent boxer. Mark Breland is doing a heck of a job with Wilder."

I agree with this quote completely. People don't pay attention to how patient Wilder is before he has the other guy hurt. Something has to be said for that. He's also good at slowing the other guy down due to his twitchy reflexes and solid jab. You don't know when the 1-2, or 3-2 is coming. When you add in the length and his ability to stay outside, it's not some easy puzzle to solve with that threat of power mixed in.

One thing is for sure, Wilder is not outboxing anyone anytime soon.

I guess the assumption is that GGG fans are white/racially motivated. That might be true for a fair number of them I guess, but I do think a lot of his fans are US based Latinos based on what I've seen at fights.

I'm a GGG fan (actually thought he'd stop Canelo) and I'm also a big Wilder fan. (Black guy btw). I think you're underestimating the love Wilder gets from the Latino community just a bit here. There's some patriotism involved with this HW scene.

Me too. Joshua's punches don't use all his reach, his footwork is slow and don't cut the ring. I see Wilder tagging his head with the jab at distance and dictating the pace of the match till the eventual knock out

The notion that Wilder cannot outbox Joshua overestimates Joshua's boxing skills. It also underestimates the amount of caution an orthodox fighter has to take to avoid Wilder's right hand.
