Very much disagree with Sanchez here. I think AJ wins that fight very easily. Better jab, better defense, equal power, better tested.

This is really overlooked in this discussion lol the fact that Joshua fights "small" is another point that isn't brought up. Wilder's jab could be pumping all night and it wouldn't shock me.

Appreciate Wilder has a great chance as a puncher in this fight, but he has only every outboxed Stiverne and Arreola, two complete puddings, at fring world level or above.

His power got him through tough fights with Duhuapas, Molina, Washington and Ortiz. Not to say he was getting outboxed himself in those fights, but you wouldnt say he was putting on a schooling either.

On the other hand, Takam, Breazeale, Molina and, once he calmed down, Whyte were well outboxed before being stopped. He was learning their moves, dipping under their counters and opening up their defences with smart boxing. Not to say he is a master boxer by any means, but he is better than Wilder by quite some distance.

Wilder isnt even looking to outbox so this isnt meant as a dig at him, just the prediction. He is a puncher. He is looking for the perfect punch to send you to hell and he is very good at it. You have to respect that.

I'm a GGG fan (actually thought he'd stop Canelo) and I'm also a big Wilder fan. (Black guy btw). I think you're underestimating the love Wilder gets from the Latino community just a bit here. There's some patriotism involved with this HW scene.
I am curious to know how you came up with this statement after what i posted. The whole racially motivated thing for instance. Im sure GGG has fans that are latino and blacc My comment was more for the fan boys of GGG that don't like Wilder. Anthony Joshua is black also so I don't think racism has anything to do with it what I said.

I see the distinction you're making there. Guess I'm just used to the back and forth on here between the certain crowds. I see you meant your statement to be much narrower than I initially read it. Point taken.

Better defense? Are you kidding me the mans a freakin statue. The Wlad combination was as basic as the cable I grew up with.

I totally Understand. Their are a lot of posters on this site that constantly show they are only a fan of a particular fighter because if his skin color and not necessarily his accomplishments. These are the casual boxing fans that the REAL boxing fans have to put up with on here on a daily basis. I just wish they would go away and NEVER return.
