I agree with this quote completely. People don't pay attention to how patient Wilder is before he has the other guy hurt. Something has to be said for that. He's also good at slowing the other guy down due to his twitchy reflexes and solid jab. You don't know when the 1-2, or 3-2 is coming. When you add in the length and his ability to stay outside, it's not some easy puzzle to solve with that threat of power mixed in.
This is EXACTLY how I've always viewed Wilder. Yes its kind of ridiculous when he's swinging at the rafters when a guy is hurt, but he's very skilled up to that point. Crisp jab that keeps them off balance. Huge reach. Difficult proposition for anyone..

I think all these people talking as if Wilder can afford to try and box Joshua and stay in there 12 rounds with him are nuts. He can't risk giving Joshua 12 rounds to land big shots on him. He needs to come out balls to the wall, try to overwhelm Joshua and hurt him quickly. If Joshua gets to land a big shot or 1 of his combos on Wilder, he will be in trouble. Neither 1 of these guys should be thinking about this fight going beyond a few rounds because neither 1 can afford to get nailed by the other.

Man, Sanchez is being un-American as usual.

          Or OK. I mean rascist.

          Or something.

AJ can win but he must be near perfect when he picks his shots and be defensively responsible AT ALL TIMES against Wilder!

Joshua must make the fight an inside fight but from how that uppercut on the inside dropped and finished King Kong Ortiz, I'm not sure that would justify victory for AJ!

Wilder has many options to win, he can play possum and allow AJ come forward to walk him into a right hand nuclear bomb or an explosive jab that's coming in bunches or come forward an mix it up and bet on his speed getting to AJ first!

He can also play it safe like with Ortiz and let rounds go by by being selective with shots and let him get tired!

Sorry, but AJ is not better tested. The closest he came to being tested was by a greatly diminished Klitschko. Klitschko was shot when he fought the greatly overrated Fury. Both of those fights were analgeous to the 2 Larry Holmes Michael Spinks fights. Larry just couldn't pull the trigger anymore.

I'll start with I want Wilder to win, but I think Joshua has got the edge. A small one, but an edge. I really doubt able is right and this goes twelve though. I think if Joshua get's Wilder in trouble like ortiz did he'll make more it. But its kind of the same thing in reverse....It'll be interesting to see how Joshua reacts if Wilder gets him straight down the pipe like Klitschko did.

Would be a great fight, lets see if we can get it made....and sooner than later. Things seem to be lining up.

Gonna disagree with Abel Sanchez here. Wilder needs to be on top of his game thru out the fight to get the win. Joshua is a much better fight then people give him credit for.

I see this as a 50/50 fight. If Wilder can hurt AJ and have him gassed he will be easy pickings, but if AJ boxes his way thru the rounds Wilder may become abit careless and thats when AJ can go for the knockout.
