"The Deuce", Yeah your from New York alright. The Deuce was a different world back then. I remember Tyson when he would come once in a while to get sparring in Time Square for his fights. I'm not going to say that I know him, but when we do run into each other we always greet each other. I remember him just as this heavy kid with a huge head for his age back then. A very hard worker, we would be training, watching each other spar but never in a million years would i have imagine that he would become the Heavy Weight Champion of the World! Emile Griffith was a great fighter (5x world middlewgt champion) & trainer (was brought over to assist with Wilfred Benitez & Juan Laporte) I've seen him up close how he conditioned his fighters back then, something to really marvel about. But bro, you just took me back with your discriptioned of the big glass window of the gym facing 42nd St....wow! Speaking of Breakfast...I forgot what i ate this morning...LMFAO!

Realistically, if we say for arguments sake the 70's George and the 80's/90's George are two different men both of them would rank ahead of Vitali.

This thread has spawned some of the craziest views I've seen in recent times. I've seen Chageav, Povetkin and Peter as better than Frazier and Liston and as good as Foreman, Joe Louis at the bottom of a top 10 and the Klits above Ali.

Yesterday I saw Judah, Hatton, Corrales better than Duran, Hearns, Benitez and De La Hoya better than Hagler.
