Loma called davis out because of the attention it would get him due to davis's affiliation with Floyd. As a boxing fan how could you be ok with that when Davis isn't the best possible fight for Loma right now? Don't you want him to fight the best available?
As a boxing fan are you ok with Thurman avoiding Spence? Are you ok that Jacobs and Charlo are fighting bums their next fight? How about Mikey try getting a Crawford fight instead of fighting unknowns all the time?

It's boxing unrealistic to expect someone to chase the hardest fights all the time. Loma career been great so far for how few fights he actually got Not Loma fault he's so much better than everyone around his weight class. He's not going to be able to challenge himself until he moves up enough where he's severely handicap by the weight disadvantage.

Lomachenko will be undisputed @135 and have thought Pacquiao before Crawford even gets a whiff of any of those guys.

Between 130 and 135 their aren't 5 guys who are a bigger name and arguably better then tank. Let's not act like he's some prospect coming up. The guy was a champion who lost his belt on the scales. He had every right to call out a champion a weight class above him at the time. He was a good option in a sport with very few

Thurman just came off an injury so I'm ok if he has a tune up fight.

You didn't answer my question though. As a boxing fan how could you support Loma calling out Gervonta Davis who's not even a champion right now? You don't see that as cherry picking? Like, Davis isn't even a mandatory Lmao

I agree on the point of him losing his title on the scales. Was that an ingenious way of Davis ducking and showing he's "not ready"?

Anyway, Linares is a much better fight against a much better fighter with a much higher standing in the game so more than happy with this.
Absolutely, linares is the best guy outside of Mikey loma could have fought. The whole davis thing is pointless cause we all know he doesn't want to fight loma, but to make it seem like loma was trying to cherry pick davis is pretty funny

He was a champion with one title defense and is not even a champion anymore. It makes no sense for Loma, a champion, to call out someone who's not a champion and isn't even his mandatory. Especially since there a better guys for Loma to fight. How could someone support Loma's desire to fight Davis right now?

This fight shouldn't even happen until Davis becomes champion again and will probably happen when they are both at 135.

You and your lies again, quote these people who said davis would win.

You always create these fake narratives in you head and try to project them onto other people in order to fit your agenda.

If Al Haymon will come to the table Crawford could get lucky and get whoever is left standing out of Spence/Thurman/Porter/Garcia and even then if Mikey is serious (which I doubt) he'd get first crack at them so I think the soonest Crawford gets a PBC opponent near the top of that division it would be 2021. Between then he'll probably get the likes of Horn, Ponamarev, Benavidez unfortunately.

Lomachenko will likely face Linares, Beltran, Verdejo, Campbell, Pacquaio, Ramirez before 2020 winning WBA, WBC, WBO at 135 and perhaps another title or two at 140.

Crawford potentially has bigger and better opponents but unfortunately for him it appears Lomachenko will get better opportunities.
