LOL @ all the people and there were plenty who said that Arum would never let Loma fight someone outside of the Top Rank stable and that they'd duck Linares. Just like the Rigondeaux fight.

I think this will be a good, competitive fight though and Linares won't quit. High speed chess.

I came back on here to say the same thing, ive always told people not to doubt Arum when it comes to making big fights, he will make a fight with any promoter if there is good money to be made. Every card theres usually at least 1 or 2 fighters from other promotions, sometimes more. I remember for the tim bradley diego chaves card every top rank fighter had an opponent from a different promotion. Hes even made deals with Pbc. If Arum made the loma linares fight there should be no reason he cant make pacquiao mathysse as well, seems like Arum just wants him to pass the torch to Loma or Crawford already but Manny has huge tax issues and needs to keep fighting
