so is PBC. They are even more in house than Haymon. Arum did Loma vs Rigo and Linares, Crawford vs Gamboa, Dulorme, Jean, Molina, Diaz, Indongo, Lundy, etc and we have Jose Ramirez vs Amir Imam, we had Valdez vs Quigg, Beltran vs Moses, etc etc.

When Haymon does a card its almost all in house. Look at last week. Garcia Lipinets is in house and Barthelemy vs Relikh he had Rances so three out of 4 fighters were his. The week before he had Wilder and Ortiz and Dirrell vs Uzcategui which is 3 out of 4 were Haymon. Look at the next Showtime card. Broner-Vargas Centeno vs Charlo and Gervonta Davis vs Jesus Cuellar which is 6 out of 6 being Haymon fighters. So out of those 10 fighters there are 8 in house fights. So Haymon is the king of the in house fights not Arum

No one wanted to see that mismatch. This is much, much better.

            Linares sucks. Loma ducks again

and he quit vs thompson cuz he was getting his ass handed to him....

loma might beat him to a pulp in like 3 rounds
That was young Linares. Those guys you are talking about were all way bigger than Lomachenko too. It's not just that Linares is good, it's that his one major weakness (chin) is not really appicable to Lomachenko's style to start with, combined with the fact he is also much bigger than Lomachenko, which cushions his chin even more. This is what so many Floyd fans for example never understood, challenges are all about context. You can have a worse boxer be a tougher challenge for someone than a better boxer depending on the styles and the size. Linares has a style that is very difficult to outpoint, but can be easily beaten by big punchers who are bigger than him. Loma is not a huge puncher at 135, so he will most likely have to outpoint Linares, making things much more interesting. Lomachenko is also way smaller than him.

It's sort of a perfect storm. Basically, Linares, for his faults, is one of the most skilled boxers in the sport, and yet because of the styles and the size difference, Lomachenko's only chance to win may be to outskill him...

It's sort of like, Canelo-Khan was a total mismatch, but if there had been some rule in play that Canelo was only allowed to win on points, and had to weigh in as the much smaller man vs Khan, suddenly it would have been a very hard fight to pick, because Khan is easy to knock out but very difficult to beat on points. Unless Lomachenko can knock out Linares, and he would be the first boxer that small to do it, he will have to outskill one of the most skilled boxers to win, or he will have to outpunish way bigger than him who has just as much speed, possibly more power on his punches, and a big reach advantage. Those are all factors that make it an interesting matchup.

Where does this leave Mikey now? They kinda snatched the rug out from under him. I guess he can go collect those Easter eggs.
