Wasn't there some other source you mentioned that specifies Canelo requesting pre-camp testing?
the bold is only referring to that one particular test, but you are right there isnt much info other than that yet... the one person that can be considered official is sulaiman and he said that canelo requested those tests on espn, the other sources are some boxing tv shows in mexico, just yesterday eduardo camarena on his show for TDN... so im really not sure if it was part of random testing or a voluntarily requested test before entering training camp.. the mexican soccer team does this test before they begin training for international tournaments..

not arguing, I really haven't been following that closely..... you appear to have more information than I do

can Canelo's testing program reasonably be described as voluntary?

and..... did he in fact request the testing that happened during the time he was caught?

I have no idea if this was accidental or whatever, but if you could provide more insight on those two questions it may be helpful

I want to hear Canelo explain how/when he thinks the contamination occurred..... because he must know, surely

he must have a protocol, otherwise he would have been popped earlier..... so he must have broken protocol at some point, which should easily clear this up

I want to hear that from Canelo
Well, me too, really... my post was really a request for further information as much as anything. I honestly can't give any reasonable judgement on the matter cos the information just isn't available. I can say for sure that GBP and the WBC are going into damage limitation overdrive, but as I keep stressing, that would be expected irrespective of Canelo's guilt or innocence and really tells us nothing.

WBC not helping here, coming across as biased. We all know they are just using this moment as a chance to suck up to Canelo after the whole fiasco with the belt stripping which offended Canelo and caused him to no longer pay sanctioning fees etc

Well, if a WBC doc says it's meat contamination, then by-golly that must be it!

So if almost all the meat in Mexico is contaminated then that means Canelo is going to have to do all his training outside of the country or become a vegetarian lol But his team should know this already. So since it was a small amount I can't be too hard on him but dang he's a star boxer. Things like this are going to make his critics go crazy. Plus you add the fact that he is known to outweigh his opponents by ten and 15 pounds. Come on Canelo get right man.

what about when Dr Daniel Eichner stated that the positive result was consistent with contaminated meat?

what about when Victor Conte stated that the positive result was consistent with contaminated meat?

what about when Memo Heredia stated that the positive result was consistent with contaminated meat?

I am not saying that Canelo was clean..... just pointing out that 4 different PROFESSIONALS have all drawn the same conclusion

hey, you are a pacfan..... right ?

so, tell me, Mr pacfan..... what conclusions did you draw after your detailed, THOROUGH, investigation into the Pac-refusing-to-test, debacle? lol
