Welp
Swiss golfer Mathias Eggenberger has been retroactively disqualified from last year’s World Amateur Team Championships [in Mexico] due to a violation of the International Golf Federation’s anti-doping policy.
In a release, the IGF stated that it had determined Eggenberger had violated the policy during the event because he ate “contaminated meat” containing low levels of banned substance clenbuterol.
Eggenberger was found in an investigation to have been of “no fault or negligence” regarding his intake of the banned substance. But the IGF noted in its statement that “the mere presence of clenbuterol in a player’s body” was a violation, regardless of the circumstances. >>> http://golfweek.com/2017/02/08/swiss...aminated-meat/
