ok, so if you're saying that Canelo didn't cheat then in essence you're also calling him and his team the dumbest group of idiots you could ever find, right? If it's a known problem in Mexico, if the trainers are actually known butchers /owners of meat factories, and the fighter involved is the biggest money maker in boxing, proper precautions should've been taken. I get how fans of Canelo want to believe that this was simply a mistake but maybe you also have to consider that just maybe he used a ped that is known to help with cutting weight and improving stamina which coincidentally are issues that pertain to Canelo.

So no proof, just speculation? I thought they were going to do a serious investigation where Canelo would need to provide receipts of where he bought the "contaminated" meat or if he ate out, receipts from the restaurant.Comment

No shyt that's the difference. VADA, WADA, USADA all recognize that living in mexico exposes you to this shyt so they don't treat someone living in mexico having it the same as someone living elsewhere that has no plausible excuse for how it could enter your body. And just living in Mexico doesn't give you a license to use this as Memo and the testing agencies have stated the amounts in your system from meat contamination is different then taking pills of this shyt. The levels found in Canelo's system are extremely low consistent with meat contamination. And every test he's had before or since has shown no traces. Leading to more credence that this was as all the experts keep saying likely meat contamination.
If the answer is yes - which it is - then how can anybody turn round and say .. that test result proves Canelo is innocent?Comment

I provided you with links. Read them as well just to be neutral.
From what I’ve read, if meat is contaminated (regardless of whether in Spain or Mexico), it would have to be injected with clenbuterol right before being killed and eaten to produce 50 picograms of clenbuterol.
I also showed you the research where you can consume 20-40 mg medication to produce 0.2-0.6ng of clenbuterol. This shows Canelo was possibly microdosing or just got of dosing 2-3 days before the test.
That's simply not true literally every drug testing agency states less then 1ng is low trace amount and consistent with meat contamination studies.

As Daniel Eichner, director of [the Sports Medicine Research and Testing Laboratory], the WADA-accredited lab that conducted the tests stated in his letter [Monday], 'These values are all within the range of what is expected from meat contamination.'
So the WADA director of the lab that does these tests is lying? SMHComment

Also, do we know or are just assuming that butchers can look at meat and know what its contaminated with or had injected into it? A lot of amatuer meat sleuths in #boxing this week seem convinced.

The NFL player stayed at tourist location eating at high end restaurants and tested positive. Unless you are sending your meat to a drug testing lab and waiting a week later for the results not sure how a butcher or restaurant knows if the farm put something in the meat or not.Comment

I dont care for the opinion of a biased WBC doctor. Show me the full report of the investigation and then we can conclude.Comment

If Canelo is a cheater then how come his hair is still red? EXACTLY!!!!
Bunch of idiots on here. I'm pretty sure I read this one time that your hair goes darker if you take drugs, and yet he has BRIGHT ORNAGE / RED HAIR!!!! HAHA! So stick that up your lying, hating asses!
If you had the slightest bit of knowledge about drugs you'd know the effects they have on the human body / hair.Comment

Then it would be feasible for them to provide substantive evidence to prove his innocence. Dude, in this situation Canelo is guilty until proven innocent, not vice versa. Let’s just wait for the facts.
Laughing at the well his trainers are butchers so they know what is in the meat. You do realize the farms and slaugherhouses the provide the meat to the butchers, shops, restaurants don't disclose that they are putting this in their animals? That's the whole reason why this is a huge problem in mexico.

I already acknowledged that if he were outside Mexico in a country that doesn't have meat contamination he would be banned. You want these agencies to treat all cases the same while ignoring the major factor that in mexico you can consume this shyt in their meat while in other countries that can't happen. And ignore the numerous examples of athletes in Mexico being higher risk of coming into contact with this. The fact that Canelo was in Mexico is not the only factor to why he is likely innocent it's just one the other major factor is the levels in his system are extremely low consistent with meat contamination. You keep acting like all you need is to be from Mexico but the levels matter if you have too high then it's clear you are taking pills regardless where you live but the extremely low level and the fact he is in Mexico all lead to meat contamination as well as the fact that his later tests all came up negative.Last edited by bigdunny1; 03-13-2018, 10:10 AM.Comment
