It doesn't matter. UFC fans wil be partial. They'll think Floyd is showing respect to the UFC and they like that pride. Another portion want to see him tap out or take a knee to the face

Thats not a lot of time to train and promote the fight??? Woodley is a good trainer to start with.

Mike Rosenthal made a real good point here.....

he made a fair point about recent precedent dictating leniency, but something has to be done..... the door has to be slammed shut on the tainted beef excuse.

The fighter is responsible for what goes into his body, whether intentional or unintentional. Period.

I would hit Alvarez with a fine that hurts even a wealthy man, one that would say loudly and clearly: “Enough is enough. For the sake of the sport and to protect fighters, we as a boxing community are no longer going to accept “accidental” doping violations.

Regulators must begin the process of drawing a red line.

          this situation really is ridiculous

People casually ignore VADA testing.
How the heck you going to fight 12 rounds and stand between rounds, you guys forgot about that?!!!! That Clenbuterol for ya baby!!!!!

Canelo was able to slip most of Golovkin's shots, assuming that he was was optimized or as heavy as his team could gamble, and we all saw how Canelo chose to bulk up in preparation for 160 yet starting with JCC. It's hard to imagine that Canelo would have a hard time from 155-160 since Smith.

On the contrary, Canelo's team would've chose to take in less protein intake since Sept. of last year. Meaning, Canelo could come in around 157-158 with speed as the advantage as well as stamina. Draining from the weigh in from 78 days out, how does Clen help that?

Canelo would need Clen in his system Starting in April to continue stamina optimization, assuming the "help to breathe theory" would benefit Alvarez. If the theory is that "you cant fix stamina" then how does Clen help a boxer, assuming he was using it before the testing.
How does breathing for just one month in high altitude help come May 2018? How does January or February help Canelo when the real grind comes in camp starting 60 days to the fight, all which VADA has been testing CANELO for years.

Nobody cares that Golovkin started 2 weeks as well as Lemeiux for their fight. What was in Gennady's system 78 days out before Lemeiux?

Clen traces and cases have always been instances during in game performances not the off season. As in cyclists like Armstrong or Contador that flushed it out of their systems the days before performance.

Then Abel Sanchez talking about wraps just recently. Seems like HBO are just cooking hype for the rematch for their own game. Canelo and GGG is all they have left and are desperate. With ESPN at #2 and Showtime #1.

                      # you cant help stamina....
                      # but clen can 3 months out? ..sure...
                      # Canelo never looks fat in his consistent social media pics
There’s so many ways clean helps Canelo, one being he can be heavy and then take off weight while keeping himself training hard for stamina.

You made a lot of assumptions here based off what Canelo team wants people to believe, but ts simple. He got caught because he was tested earlier.
