Comments Thread For: Hughie Fury: I Truly Feel I Beat Joseph Parker, I Should Be Champ

Despite being 10 years younger than British Heavyweight Champion Sam Sexton, challenger Hughie Fury believes his experience against WBO World Champion Joe Parker will take him to victory against Sexton when they clash on Saturday 12th May at the Macron Stadium, Premier Suite, exclusively live in the UK on free-to-air Channel 5.

You did well in surviving 12 rounds that was your success. But you lost the fight. But you will win one day and be champ because of loss to parker.
      So you are the winner.

Now Wilder fanboys will clame that Hughie really won that fight & Parker is just another bum.

          Nope.

I wanted Hughie to win but he didn't do enough. He thought he could win a world title the way his cousin did but Tyson was always in control of his fight.

He should actually focus on what he didn't do and fix it. He might have actually won that fight if he let his hands go a bit more because he certainly wasn't out of his depth in there.

Hughie will be a handful for any fighter because he moves well but he must engage and you didn't against Parker and that's why you LOST

Maybe if Hughie hadn't been out for so long he would have judged range and distance better and landed his counters cleanly, which is all it would have taken to beat Parker clearly on points.

Perhaps the worst Heavyweight fight I've ever seen. Both fighters did nothing. At best a draw with Parker keeping the title. Fury has expended more effort complaining about the fight after the fact than he did in the actual fight. FAIL.

Ruiz may well have beaten Parker, he actually fought him. Fury did next to nothing, certainly not enough to whine about not getting a decision

No, you absolutely did not and you are probably the most boring fighter in the HW division. Hopefully Sexton knocks you out
