Mikey Garcia reiterated early Sunday morning that Jorge Linares remains the lightweight champion he wants to fight most. Linares, however, could be headed toward a defense of his WBC title against Vasyl Lomachenko on May 12 at Madison Square Garden. If Lomachenko-Linares materializes and Garcia indeed moves back down to the 135-pound division for his next fight, Robert Easter Jr. gladly will accept that challenge.

I'm guessing the biggest money fights at 135 for Mikey are Loma first, then Linares and then Easter. I'd be surprised if he has more than one before going back to junior welter. So it may be sol for Easter unless he wants to move up to 140.

Seems like anyone of them could get made with basically the same purse. He can't go wrong with any of the three imo.

I wouldn't hate that if Linares vs Loma weren't fighting in May. Right now we can probably line up Loma vs Mikey (I don't see Linares winning) in Aug/Sept & it be Mikey's next fight.

If Mikey vs Easter fight thats probably not gonna be scheduled til Aug or later with PBC's current schedule so that means Mikey vs Loma doesn't happen til Dec or 2019 probably. F#ck that. And hell Loma vs Linares & Mikey vs Easter are both fights I think are gonna be won pretty easily by Loma & Mikey so who gives THAT much of a f#ck about Mikey vs Easter happening if we can go right to Loma vs Mikey? Not me.
