He should go back to 135 and fight Loma. At least he will have a punchers chance. At 147 he will only have a chance against Thurman if Spence doesn't take care of him first.

Mikey's defense is terrible. Loma would tag him all night and Spence or Crawford would KO him. He really needs to just cherry pick the rest of his career to remain undefeated.

I think, now that Mikey is no longer under contract with Showtime, he should look to fight Linares or Lomachenko next, whichever pays him more for the fight! After that, back to 140 for whoever pays the most (Broner, Prograis, Imam, or Ramirez) and then a WW fight in 2019! Mikey is 30, so I think his next 5 fights are the last in his prime! He's looking to make the most money he can, to make up for what he lost battling Top Rank!

I hope that Lomachenko vs Mikey will happen in December. Before that Loma should win & unify titles against Linares & Beltran and Mikey on the other hand face Easter Jr. in July/August. Then we have a fight for the Undisputed World Lightweight Championship in December which deserves to be a PPV event.

That would be ideal.

Apparently Arum was talking to Hearn about Luke Campbell. They should have Ray Beltran vs. Luke Campbell on the undercard of Loma-Linares and then the winners could fight in August.

Hopefully Mikey does his thing against Easter and we can see Loma and Mikey fight in December.
