I don’t consider Manny a relevant welterweight. But yeah, he may be able to outbox Manny at this stage. But Manny still has fast hands and will hit Mikey harder than he’s ever been hit before. So you never know.

Lipinets was landing a lot of leather on Mikey. I don't think he can compete with Thurman, Spemce, Crawford, PAC or Danny at 147. I think even Khan gives him problems. Only good fights for him at 147 would be Matthysse, Peterson, Alexander, Ortiz, Berto.

Mikey is good enough to beat some Welterweights, but he should calm down a little.
The current Welterweights are big guys. We are not talking about the small Welters of a few years ago. These are the biggest Welterweights since the late 90's/early 2000's.

Mikey has some good fights at 135 and 140. You have Loma, Prograis, Jose Ramirez, Josh Taylor, Linares.

Some of those fights could be big. Taylor's fan base keeps growing. Jose Ramirez already draws over 10,000 fans easily to see him fight. His popularity will probably keep increasing.

The Lomachenko fight is already one of the most anticipated fights in boxing.

I hope that Lomachenko vs Mikey will happen in December. Before that Loma should win & unify titles against Linares & Beltran and Mikey on the other hand face Easter Jr. in July/August. Then we have a fight for the Undisputed World Lightweight Championship in December which deserves to be a PPV event.

He is a devastating puncher at 135 and that is where he should spent the next year or two.

He carries good, but not great, power at 140.

I am thinking at 147 it would also be decent but even less...not enough to hurt the full grown folks even the lower half of the top 12-15.

He should leave 147 alone for a bit.
