I think it'll be a lot lower. Hearn said himself he expects between 500k and 1 million, so you can expect it to be on the low end of that range.

In the UK I expect it to be between 1 - 1.5 million, similar numbers to Klitschko but maybe a bit less because Wilder's not as well known over here.

Have been saying for a year now that Wilder would accept 60/40 if asked. Maybe people will finally believe me.

60/40 would suggest Joshua's market value is only 1.5x Wilder's. That is clearly not the case. Wilder deserves 30% at best. He also only brings one belt to the table, and Joshua will most likely bring three, despite having half the amount of professional experience.

In the UK, the general public don't know about Wilder. If he'd fought Dillian Whyte for a career high payday, he would have raised his profile and could have then rightly demanded 40% against Joshua.

I do agree that the split should be reversed in a rematch if Wilder wins. But he won't win.

I understand why that makes sense to a layman, but that's just not how boxing works.

Parker is getting approximately 33.3%. There's no way Wilder deserves less than that. He's a much bigger star, has the most important belt instead of the lead important belt, and brings the US to the table instead of New Zealand.

Mandatories are paid 25-30%. You're not going to get an undefeated heavyweight to unify with you for 30%.

Delusions of grandeur. Purse splits get worked out. You don't just pull up any figure you want from your ass then claim I want 60:40. Accountants work these things out and see how much you contribute to the whole pot. It's only in cases where someone wants something from the other person that a premium for risk is charged like an up coming fighter needs legitimacy from a fading champion then his promoter might need to top up the purse of the champion. Wilder is still fighting for $2m and thinks he can dictate anything? This guy is just an expense to Joshua. Joshua can pay him from his own pocket. Some of these Americans are so thick they you wonder whether they have brains at all and to make it worse they love being loud. Do you know how stupI'd it is for Wilder to claim he wants 40% of the purse? That's trying to reap where you didn't sow.

Wilder doesn't deserve 40% at all at this moment.

He made 2,1 million in his last fight vs Ortiz, while AJ is gonna make 20 millions against Parker.

I think most think 65-35 is closer to where it will end up. Reversed in rematch if wilder wins but maybe 75-25 Joshua is the favouritr wins
