Why? Because all three also know what nobody is willing to admit...that Spence does NOT comfortably make 147...in spite of the fact that people keep repeating it. Spence barely makes 147 and just like Brook, by 2019 Spence will no longer be able to make weight. Isn't it obvious? I'm sorry but just because you maintain that Spence makes 147 comfortably doesn't make it true, he shrinks down and that's why his power is so effective.

Yeah Khan is the reason Spence kicked Brooks mediocre ass.
Khan was a champ and Olympian way before a roided brook got a gift decision over porter.
Brook hasn't really done anything, and has mediocre skills. He's just strong and roided out. You Brook fans need to really stop with the Khan obsession. Its embarrassing.
And for the last time you dim wits. Spence is BIGGER than Brook, thus more drained at WW than Brook. At 154, he is STILL bigger, and more energetic. I don't know how something so simple is so difficult to understand.
However, Brook has less stamina, and it aint got nothing to do with weight drain, in the GGG fight he was also gassing pretty badly and breaching out of his mouth by the 3rd/4th round.
Fact is both Brook and Spence forced him to fight at a pace that he is unable to keep up with.
That's why Spence didn't panic even when Brook was landing a lot and bullying him in the 3rd to the 5th round because he knew his relentless and brutal body work along with the brutal pace that he was making Brook fight at was going to win him the fight in the middle/later rounds.
Spence is a stamina beast let's face it. The guy is relentless and he never stops punching. Makes it worse that his punches hurt like hell. Even his jab is a thudding lazer beam. Brook honestly never stood a chance.
Spence also has ridiculously long arms. That long uppercut to the solar plexus that he was landing throughout the fight was ridiculous. Brook just couldn't avoid it no matter how much he tried to jump backwards.
There are also other factors here like pain tolerance.
Brook tried to take away Spence's jab by countering over it. However Spence never stopped throwing and landing that jab no matter how manny times Brook countered. Eventually Brook stopped trying to counter it coz clearly Spence wasn't discouraging and that jab was starting to mess up his eye.
Also, Brook was throwing and landing a straight right to the body a lot in the early rounds. However, instead of backing away, every time Brook threw that right to the body, whether he landed or not, Spence would stand his ground and immediately counter with and overhead left to the head. Again, Brook eventually stopped throwing that punch because it wasn't discouraging Spence and insead he was getting nailed to the face every time he threw it.
There was a lot of this throughout the fight. Like for example I mentioned earlier that Brook was mandhandling Spence and off *****g him with his size and agression early on, but that took up a lot of his energy because even though Brook was stronger, it wasn't by that much, he's only a fraction stronger than Spence and Spence has way more stamina, so eventually Brook had no choice but to stop that tactic coz he was gassing at much quicker than his opponent and Spence wasn't intimidated by his strength.
There are other interesting battles that occurred within this fight and Brook lost most of them.
He did well, I give him credit. His tactics were not wrong either, they would have worked against any other opponent, but Spence is just a too much of a beast, physically, skillwise, and most importantly, mentally.
Brook is a highly skilled fighter, let's not make any mistake about that. In fact, I would bet my money on Brook against any other welter out there, including Crawford.
But against Spence, and against the top 154lbers (except Ali) , hell no. That's just a disaster waiting to happen. Spence and those other guys are beast.
