    Milking, I understand.

      This will get very interesting.

How many PPV buys did Wilder do for the fight with Ortiz?

AJ isn't selling out Vegas or selling any US PPVs. Wilder brings the money fight to Vegas and the US PPV market for AJ. No other fighter will give Hearn and AJ that. Parker isn't bringing nothing to the table other than a belt. Both Wilder and AJ aren't US PPV stars or bringing in 15 million gates in the US. They both need each other. AJ isn't getting no 10 million gate in Vegas or fighting on PPV against Baby Miller.
We're speculating right now, but we will see what the gate looks like when Joshua fights Miller. If Joshua's gate and views are double that of Wilder, especially if AJ fights Miller in NYC, then Joshua deserves double the money! My fear is that Joshua doesn't beat Miller, which is why I feel if AJ beats Parker, stop marinating! AJ almost got knocked out, and Wilder almost got knocked out! Stop playing, and let's get it!

It's looking more and more like Hearn is trying not to delay this fight as long as possible. This concession will only create another roadblock.

At this point there's not a single other fight that Wilder can take in the US where he earns more than $3m.
The site fee needs to top what Joshua could get at home to make sense, and Las Vegas isn't getting near that to see Anthony Joshua fight Jarrell Miller, or David Price (assuming he beats Povetkin), or any other opponent that you can point to right now.

Deontay Wilder just earned $2.1m to fight Luis Ortiz, in a fight that was electric for the casual fight fan. Don't be foolish

Ricky Hatton took 10,000 fans for Castillo as per this article. Cheered on by an estimated 10,000 British fans, "Hatton, billed for the bout as the Manchester Mexican, entered the ring in a sombrero and poncho in Manchester City colours."
You're using a fight featuring the biggest PPV star in the history of the sport in Las vegas as a comparable for a fight with a no name HW in Brooklyn/MSG on a Saturday night premium cable? That's how people lose money lol

                    Again, your comparables are off.

You miss the point. The purpose of the Jarrell Miller fight is to fight in the US, raising AJ's profile in the process and totally reduce Wilder's bargaining power. If AJ sells out an arena and does better numbers on Showtime than Wilder, then Wilder has no choice but to take a lower % because it would be proven AJ is a bigger draw in the US.
