Because he can make Wilders team come down on their %request (by showing they have other options), and he makes Extra money with a showcase fight for AJ to build his brand in America, vs Miller. And indirectly make money off of a Wilder vs Whyte fight, at the same time. MONEY This is PRIZE fighting

That's one of AJ excuses out of the way, how many more to go?

If the fight is made in Vegas than Wilder should get compensated as much as AJ. AJ is proven ticket seller in the UK, but that's the UK and not Vegas. Why would Wilder give up money when it will be because of Wilder that AJ will be getting that US PPV revenue. Both AJ and Wilder aren't proven ticket sellers in Vegas but AJ deserves more than 50%? Parker and Wilder are totally different fighters when it comes to money. No way Wilder takes the same deal as Parker. Parker doesn't bring nothing to the table as Wilder does financially.

How is Hearn gonna make money of the Wilder/Whyte fight? Only way he makes money if he promotes the fight. The fight could go to a purse bid and it's team Wilder's, as the champion who decide where the fight is.

Wilder will get more than 35% if the fight is in Vegas. No way team Wilder will allow Hearn to keep revenue that they would have never gotten if they didn't fight Wilder. A Wilder fight for AJ means US PPV money along the UK PPV money. Pretty much a bigger gate in Vegas than they ever had in a UK Stadium. Parker doesn't bring that to the table so he settled for what they offered. If Joushua was a US PPV star fighting in Vegas, than it would be understandable, but he isn't. They both aren't PPV fighters in the US where the money is. Both need each other to make it a big PPV fight in Vegas. If the fight was in the UK than it would be understandable that Wilder take a 35-40%.

He has a tough fight to get out of the way first and if he does the fight will be next. I am convinced it will happen this year but Parker is tough and still a bit of an unknown quantity.

Did they finally agreed to talk reason and make the fight with Joshua?

I understand your point, but it's not connected to the economics of the fight.
The fact that this will become an undisputed fight vs a unification if AJ beats Parker and can be billed as the first undisputed heavyweight fight since Tyson vs whoever it was. That is AJ bringing that added value to the table. Wilder will make a much higher purse despite getting a similar split due to larger plot.

Your logic is flawed because Wilder can't do PPV without Joshua. Wilder can't make a purse much above $2 million without Joshua. Wilder needs Joshua to make the big money. Even at 30-35% split Wilder will be making $15-20m. That's 5-10 times more than he can make fighting anyone else.

Joshua makes 9X more than Windmill just on his guarantee alone - not including extra money from the PPV revenue in the UK. The fact that the phrase "50/50" even came out of Ostrich Legs' mouth shows that he's either scared or just an idiot.
