Most folks, Wilder’s critics in particular are acting as if Wilder was being completely outclassed. And in the tenth, landed a bomb that let him win the fight. When in reality, the fight was close throughout. It kinda reminded me of Canelo-GGG. GGG out-jabbed Canelo throughout the fight. Canelo landed the cleaner, showier punches. Wilder out-jabbed Ortiz throughout the fight and landed more punches overall. But it was Ortiz that landed the clearer shots. The main differences in those two fights were that the jabber actually landed the harder shots that did visible damage. Where GGG never seemed to dent Canelo.

I say that to say that the notion that Fury is Floyd Mayweather technically as a heavyweight is silly. Just like the notion that Wilder is this free swinging amateur that only hits are is ridiculous as well. Wilder has special power. When he hits guys, he short circuits them. But he knows how to get his offense off. He takes his time, working behind his jab to get in range. He knows how to position guys in order to land his shots. And he’s defensively responsible enough that he has an escape plan when he throws. Fury may well outbox Wilder. But I doubt he shuts him out and doesn’t have an anxious moment or two.

On a side note. I don’t even care about Fury, or any other of Wilder’s opponents chin. Wilder appears to have that special, once in a generation type power. Where if lands, it’s a problem. Along the same line as guys like Tito, Tyson, Julian Jackson, Hearns, etc. And even if Wilder isn’t as good as those guys. It’s hard to keep guys like that off you if you can’t hit them hard enough to get their respect. I don’t think Fury can make Wilder gunshy. Which means he’s gonna have to be close to perfect in order to not taste that freakish power Wilder has. It’s a y’all task.
Good points about BOTH of their power.I really believe Wilder is the best puncher since Foreman. Its a different kind more snap power like Hearns then as heavy handed like Foreman.Wilder does still have some heavy hands but its THE SNAP that really gives him that power.Foreman has the heaviest hands EVER his punches a lot of times don't even look hard but guys just crumble.I really think he hit better then Shavers I think Ali sayin Shavers was hardest was because A- He had just fought him and B did not want rematch with Foreman anymore.Which you cant blame him this was 77 and Ali prob got beat by Young that year and was ALL done.

Bull****e. Wilder wasn't throwing a lot early because he was getting out boxed by a skilled old man and was confused and hesitant because his jab was nowhere near landing. For his size and age he has good movement, but Ortiz doesn't use the ring half as much as Fury does, nor is he as fast or evasive. Wilder couldn't even land his jab against Ortiz until half way into the fight once Ortiz started to feel the pace. Wilder always has a chance against anybody because of his unreal punching power but finding a 100% restored Fury should prove to be much harder than finding a 40+ year old Ortiz.
Fury does have a suspect chin and can't really punch much so Wilder could definitely ice him. Personally I'd love to see the fight if Fury actually comes back and looks like his former self.

As usual, people let their blind hatred of the man cloud their judgement when it comes to his actual ability.
And that bum you root for is a fat fuc keyboard warrior gypsy. Hasn't fought in 3 years has no power to keep the b bomber off of him. I don't care how many jabs that tub of lard idol of yours lands on Wilders face. He still will get slept and most fight fans can agree with that. I can just see the rust fly off Tysons face with the first hard right that lands on Furys head.

That's all you got after i just schooled your dumb ass. Go play paddy cakes near the Thames river and dream about Furys glory days about loafing and flopping all over the ring. Those brutal knock out highlights ....not.

If you have insomnia and can't sleep throw on Tyson fury vs Wlad Klitchko or Lara's last fight vs Tarrell Gausha those will do the trick on getting you back to sleep in no time at all. Lol
