Just F.Y.I. - Tyson Fury is not the lineal heavyweight boxing champion. He was stripped early this year.
True....but.......
He still is the man that beat the man so he's lineal in real boxing circles anyways, until he retires at least. Joshua could not become lineal when beating Klitschko.
So we're clear, when Fury fought Cunnigham he was in his "prime" right?
You're telling the story champ...was he?
I'd say Tyson had just entered his prime against Klitschko.
In saying that, there's no doubt in my mind what tyson (in his prime) did to klit, he could have done to anybody, especially the technically challenged windmill.
There is also no doubt (in my mind) that if you plugged in windmill ins a2tead of tyson in that Klit fight, wlad would have schooled and embarrassed wilder.
And deontay wouldn't be getting the leeway for all those rabbit punches to the back of the head he throws either
Against a champion, wilder would at least be warned. As a champion he gets away with some straight up BS!
I just can't see wilder breaking down tysons defense to even land a decent jab, let alone a solid right or the opportunity to unleash the windmill.
Wlads reflexes were shot. It was obvious. They were in the Joshua fight as well and the fact that he almost won anyways shows how great of a champ he really was. Ali was shot at 34. Wlad was indeed shot at 39. End of discussion.
One thing Fury and Wilder have in common is that they both get ripped and mocked by boxing "purists" and they both keep winning, so no surprise that opinions are miles apart when it comes to them fighting each other!
