I don't understand what people see in Fury. He only has one notable win (a decision victory against an aged and strangely reticent Wlad Klitschko) and has been dropped by a cruiser. He's an awkward fighter but doesn't have the power of the top guys. Even at his peak, he'd get hammered by Joshua, Wilder or Ortiz.

All you Fury fans are living in Fantasyland Wilder will slept Tyson quicker and more brutal then he did Ortiz. It wiil be like a redwood tree dropping in the forest. When Bomb squad affect goes full throttle with the overhand right it will be good night. Sets everything off his jab. Once wilder got his jab going I knew Ortiz was in trouble. That's exactly is going to happen to Fury and have that same look wtf just hit me.
Anyway, who remembers 99% of posters on here predicting that Wladimir would KO him in the first round? I do!
As usual, people let their blind hatred of the man cloud their judgement when it comes to his actual ability.Comment

Foreman also had piss poor "skillset". but just like Wilder his power pulverized opponents. and Wilder being so unpredictable makes him more dangerous. there's no way to prepare for that because nothing he does is textbook. Ortiz is the best HW in terms of skill and technique. he proved that vs DW but it wasn't enough. Ortiz is ten levels about Joshua. AJ is tailor made for Wilder's right hand. he'll do the booty dew in round 1 guaranteed. and Fury is a disgraceful cokehead. his name shouldn't be mentioned until he gets back in the mix. if Cunningham dropped him DW will send that fool back to his depression.
Triangular theories don't work, Wilder would get clowned on for 12 rounds by someone like Fury, we just need to give Fury a year to get back into form and shape.Comment

A prime Fury is a nightmare fight for Wilder. Ortiz put on a better performance than I expected, and is clearly a decent technical boxer, but he still stood in the pocket all night rolling the dice. Finding Fury's chin would be an entirely different proposition. Wlad seemed gun shy because he was never able to get off the straight right hand, and he has one of the best right hands in the history of the division.
Whether or not Fury ever gets back to the level he was at is anyone's guess, but I would have a prime Fury a heavy, heavy favourite against Wilder. Wilder has a punchers chance against anyone, but that is greatly reduced against a guy like Fury who can nullify the right hand with movement and defensive nouse.Comment

Ortiz would have little chance considering he would been dwarfed by fast 6-8 tall giant Fury. Who would just dance around Ortiz & win by easy UD.

You're wondering how much boxing other people watch, and then in the next sentence claiming that Tyson Fury isn't a slick boxer?
