Boxing is a sport where performance can't be easily measured like in track & field, cycling, swimming, etc.

Banned substances can help a boxer in training for a fight and it's already an unfair advantage that would result to an enhanced/roided version of the boxer in the actual fight.

    Roid hard, fight harder...

all SPECULATIVE. how can something thats pure speculation be given such a negative stigma

its never been proven to be advantageous to be on the stuff. not one fight shows this advantage.

when a guy exits training camp, i defy a person to say CONCLUSIVELY ''STOP THE FIGHT !!!! that guy took roids/p'e'ds !!!''

heres MY definition of ''unfair advantage''

something that works ALL THE TIME FOR EVERY ATHLETE.

if it doesnt meet this criteria, why ban it ?!?!?!?

Better for you to review the banned substances list and report here which substance won't give an unfair advantage.

Deal? At least this will make you busy...

Sorry Mr.Elroy but your opinion on roids will not be taken seriously here. hehe Much better to present it to WADA, they might take you seriously.

I'm not really following the logic of your argument, nor am I quite clear if you're engaging in some kind of mild trolling to illustrate some point or other, but as a rule of thumb I'd say the highlighted is too great a burden of proof. Merely to establish that a substance is likely give a competitive advantage in some instances should be sufficient to ban it in my book. Kinda depends on what the governing/sanctioning bodies are hoping to achieve though - is it 'fairness' within the sport, or fighter safety?
