We'll never know for certain whether he cheated or ate tainted meat. End thread(s).

Dislike a random test of say 20 Mexican people to see if they also have this small traces of clenbuterol in their system.

I don't give a fk, I want the fight to happen but what a convenient excuse these Mexican fighters have any time they get popped for this stuff.

Not just fighters. All mexican athletes. WADA gives them a pass too.

“We acknowledge that the clenbuterol meat contamination issue is unsatisfactory,” said Olivier Niggli, WADA’s Director General, in a statement. “Accordingly, since 2011, the Agency has carried out several research studies aimed at providing analytical means to distinguish ingestion of clenbuterol by pharmacological origin versus that of meat contamination. We will continue to invest in scientific research to try to solve this issue as quickly as possible. However, in the meantime, we maintain that disciplinary proceedings against athletes with low level urinary concentrations, from countries known for significant risk of exposure, would have little to no prospect of success; and, would be very unfair to the athletes concerned.”

An investigation by ARD has found that the International Olympic Committee (IOC) decided against proceeding with cases against Jamaican sprinters, after samples taken from them at the Beijing 2008 Olympics tested positive for low levels of clenbuterol. The IOC confirmed that many re-tested samples from Beijing 2008 contained ‘very low levels’ of clenbuterol within the […]

Has Camp Canelo outed where they got their meat from?

Clenbutonol does come with some very nasty side-effects, and if they do not tell where they got this meat, they are endangering people's lives.
These people should be checked at nearby physician.

He's been tested numerous times and never failed a test. He showed up looking much bigger than ever in the first fight with G. He has failed tests administered on two different days during training camp for the rematch. No word yet on the B samples, but I find this to be more than a coincidence since most boxers (especially the stars) have specially prepared food as part of their diet/training regimen. I highly doubt Canelo is going and eating tacos from street vendors in Mexico during training camp (unless he's an idiot).

It makes sense to me what you're saying can anyone confirm about the clen not surviving the cooking temp?

The New York Times’s Juliet Macur, reporting on the Contador case, wrote the following in Sept 2010:

“Fernando Ramos, a professor at the University of Coimbra in Portugal who has studied clenbuterol contamination in meat for 20 years, said it was highly unlikely that Contador tested positive from eating meat other than liver, noting that the concentration would have to be so high that the animal would have died before being slaughtered.

“When asked what the chances were that Contador’s positive test, even at such low levels, was a result of the meat he ate, Ramos said, 'I can say 99% it's impossible'.

Ramos says it’s possible to ingest detectable amounts of clenbuterol from livestock—but only if you eat the liver of the animal, “where clenbuterol is known to accumulate.” And then you would get terribly ill.".

Same reason they are "Sure" he didn't . Just people being biased as it stands right now the true answer is that it's fishy, but not damming since these Mexican cows been fking up people for years now. I think PED using boxers should move to mexico so when they get caught they can use the mexican cow defense
