Once he kicks Anthony Joshua's ass I wonder what the excuses will be then? AJ doesn't move his head or feet very well. He's basically your squared up boxer who is static and plods around the ring. Joshua would be batting practice for Deontay Wilder because he is going to be so easy for him to hit.
lets face it, it was wilders limitations that made ortiz look good...

Dramashow is from the UK. He knows Wilder sucks but is scared to death he lands a shot on AJ's chin and gets the huge upset.im fed up of hearing this complete nonsense about how great a fighter ortiz is, how that version of him would have beaten klitschko and joshua. And now wilder is the best fighter since muhammed ali according to richardson.
'ortiz showed how great he was on saturday night' is something i keep reading.
Do people not think that he looked great because of how poor a boxer wilder is? WHy is him giving wilder problems some proof of his greatness
Many were vocal about ortiz's limitations pre fight but we all knew how sloppy wilder is and for that reason it was a dangerous fight as it proved.
Lets face it hes not the first person to outbox wilder, spzlika looked like a million dollars at times in that fight against wilder and hes shown himself to be a complete bum. Washington looked sharp too, molina had him doing the harlem shake.
Its funny too, when lomachenko beat rigondeaux you all said 'oh well rigo was old, hed lost his reflexes' well what about ortiz then? He looked slow as **** as he had done in the last couple of years. They werent even sure he could fight cause of his blood pressure lol, this is a guy whos meant to be late 30s.
Its a good solid win and a hard fight that wilder didnt have to take to his credit, but jesus christ can we calm the hype down a bit.Comment

Joshua is there to be hit. Wilder doesnt do himself any favors by throwing his arms up and over exaggerating the punch but he does get the hell out of dodge and I see Joshua rushing in catching a windmill to the temple.Ortiz even though he was past his best, was still very good. I thought he was winning the fight comfortably wilder for the most part got outboxed the whole fight and his right hand was a non factor. Ortiz just couldnt keep the pace up once they went into the championship rounds and he then got hit and finished.
I think Joshua will Ko him clean still. I expected wilder to show some improved boxing ability in this fight at a high level i just didnt see it. He still is very limited with just a right hand and amazing power. I think Joshua will pressure him and KO him pretty quickly. Only way i see him beating AJ is if the fight goes way into the late rounds and AJ gasses badly.Comment

I don't have a major interest in either fighter but the cringeworthy posting after the last 2 Wilder fights from clear AJ cheerleaders really makes me want that shot to land. There's some sad pro Wilder posts as well but no where near the degree of the others.Comment

LMFAO!!!! It ain't just him either. I just wish one of them would admit that Alabama power got em a lil concerned.
Yeah man, the UK boxing cognoscenti seems a lil shook. I honestly don't know why because AJ IMO is better in every way.Comment

Joshua doesnt rush in, he stalks his opponents and breaks them down with counters and powerful fast combinations. Did you see how Ortiz was pressuring wilder and making him gunshy? What do you think joshua who is much bigger, younger, and faster going to do?
Hes going to pressure him onto the ropes and unleash devastating combos onto him which i dont see him surviving, if he does manage to outlast i see him getting damaged and worn down over the course of 12 hard rounds. Of course he can catch Aj with his right hand once and end the fight but thats basically just a punchers chance, it keeps working for him but eventually its not going to work.Comment
