Some boxing forums used to have a strict no spoilers rule where you couldn't discuss a fight for 24 hours out of respect to people who couldn't see it live etc...

Then someone realized they could just not visit a boxing website if they didn't want boxing spoilers. Problem solved.
I know. I avoid all boxing forums and download boxing off WBVA and watch them in order of importance and save the best till last. Spoilers shouldn't be mentioned by commentators at all, though. Like football (soccer), the commentators usually say "to those who haven't watched the match on ITV 2 look away now" when they show highlights from another match and the results.

... but particularly Nelson, how he gets work as a pundit is beyond me.
Not only that, they put him on commentary on saturday.

Yeah he was horrible, having to listen to him and the creepy public school boy is probably the worst combination

Who booked that date first? HBO or SHO? If it was HBO, then no harm no foul, serves SHO right for going up against them with a competing card on the same night.

I'm not a fan of Lampley. He's the king of calling phantom punches that are never thrown or landed. Ranallo is gaining on him though, he's called his fair share of phantom punches too.

This is why I always watch the better fight. You expect the network with the worst fight to try and undermine the ratings on the other network however they can.

We all just need to understand Lampley is more company man than boxing guy.

I was going to watch HBO first as I knew Kov fight was going to be meh, but my better judgment told me to watch Wilder first, when I heard Jim said who won, I was furious as I remember like 10 years ago, Showtime did the same. I am sure is not Jim who made the decision to call who won but his producers. ESPN and most sports channels come out with this huge red banner that says "Score ahead" or something like that, so you turn away or cover the bottom of the t.v.. I think it is a disgrace they do that, between the lack of stars, fighters wanting more money and fighting less and this type of shenanigas, Boxing dont need MMA or anything else to destroy itself.

What an absolute cvnt. He obviously did it so people didn't switch the channel.
i'm a HUGE Kovalev fan but i wasn't about to watch him spar a tomato can over Wilder-Ortiz
