So, I planned my viewing schedule as follows:

Brook, Kovalev, Wilder

During the first round of the Kovalev fight Lampley says, "we've just learned Wilder just knocked out Ortiz in the tenth round"

What an absolute cvnt. He obviously did it so people didn't switch the channel.

Because I had to watch it late in the UK and thought I'd save the best till last. In any case, he did it out of spite. I've never watched a Sky broadcast that says who's won. They even said Kovalev is fighting down the road and not once did they mention the result.

I agree with you. I thought that was terrible on Lampley to do that.

Look, he did it on purpose. If the fight was happening later that night he wouldn't even have mentioned it, just like he's never ever mentioned a fight happening later on a competing network. He's a selfish, man-child who doesn't give a **** about fans. All he cares is about ratings. Like the time he dissed an MMA event (so unprofessional) live on air and Kellerman put him in his place.

Yeah, no sympathy for picking such a **** fight over Wilder/Ortiz. I haven't even got around to the Kovalev fight as it's inconsequential.

He’s one of the worst in the US along with Schuab and Stephen A. The clowns over here like Jonny Nelson, Bellew, Adam Smith, Froch, Spencer Fearon etc (essentially anyone on Sky) are the absolute worst..
... but particularly Nelson, how he gets work as a pundit is beyond me.
