Pacquiao's political party is an ally to the current government, unlike the previous one. His tax issues have all been settled by his attorneys. You can't run for a government position with tax issues, anyways. Otherwise, it will run counter to whatever you promise during campaign seasons. In other words, you won't get elected.

Yea Pac's political enemies in the Philippines are trying to make a big stink about it, problem is we have a standing tax treaty with the Philippines aka if a Filipino citizen pays taxes in America, THEY CAN'T be double taxed again in the Philippines.
His political opponents want it both ways LOL. Its moot at this point since Duterte has came out and stated that he wants Pac to run when his term is up and officially endorsed it.Comment

Sandiganbayan (graft and corruption court) would of invalidated his candidacy if he actually had tax issues.Pacquiao's political party is an ally to the current government, unlike the previous one.
