isnt a good chin something like golovkin has? He eats punches and keeps coming forward without being wobbled or hurt.

Wilder was hurt with the first decent shot ortiz landed. He has a good recovery, but thats not what a good chin looks like. He doesnt have a weak chin, but not having a weak chin does not equal having a good chin.

Guys like Tua, Ibeabuchi, Foreman or toney had awesome chins at heavyweight.

the way some of these guys talk down about wilder you would have thought he got off the deck...but he never left his feet....which is the point, people defending wilders chin, are trying to make
These delusional guys work for Eddie. They see the truth and spin it whichever way suits them, just like the guy who says Wlad is the heaviest puncher in heavyweight history. Even the eye test says Wilder punches harder than Wlad.... lol.

Wilder was not hurt by the 1st decent shot Ortiz landed. He had been hit multiple times before that. What made this punch count was Wilder was throwing and was receiving a punch back while throwing. Ortiz then jumped on him with a left which Wilder did not see. The left hand hurt Wilder more than the right. Then came the barrages.

He isn't even Top 15 and may not be top 20.

He isn't even the hardest puncher in his own family...

Current WBC champion Deontay Wilder and former division ruler Wladimir Klitschko are among the heavyweights who have retained Gassiev's services.

The Russian slugger says Wilder is a harder worker, a bigger puncher and has a difficult style to figure out.

"Klitschko is a very clever boxer, he's very smart in the way that he uses his long arms, his height. He just keeps his left out. To those who are shorter, it is impossible to get close to him. He has a very discreet right jab. You simply do not see it, it appears out of nowhere. But I would not say that his jab is super-strong - just a good, strong punch for a heavyweight," Gassiev told Match TV.

"Wilder is the hardest worker I've been in with. [He's the hardest puncher], in addition he has dangerous angles to his attacks that are difficult to understand. If Klitschko has a classic technique, then Wilder is very unusual and his attacks are very difficult to defend against. If you look from the outside, the movements seem clumsy, but in the ring they work in a very efficient manner."

Cruiserweight Murat Gassiev (23-0, 17KOs) is one of the best rising talents in the sport. On Saturday, December 3rd in Moscow, he will challenge countryman Denis Lebedev (29-2, 22KOs) for his WBA and IBF world cruiserweight titles.

Lots of boxers say stuff like that. I've read articles that say Naseem Hamed hits harder than Lennox Lewis. What does it prove? Absolutely nothing.

                    This is an ignorant statement.

Most KOs, if you isolate them, start with and end with one punch.

Wilder's latest fight with Ortiz ended with a vicious uppercut and if that was all I showed you then it would look like a one punch KO.

                    It wasn't.

And neither were most of Wlad's stoppages.

He used his jab to wear down opponents, got them drunk.

The KO punch was usually a coup de gras, a cherry on top of the sundae Wlad been crafting the whole fight. Wlad was never a one punch guy.

1 punch, lights out i'm talking about. Actual real knockouts where the opponent is sleeping.
