We Have Seen A Great Like Wilder Before

    His name?

    Rocky Marciano.

Yes, the styles are completely different.

Yes, physically they are very different.

However, the things they share make them more alike than one might think:

    1) Great stamina
    2) Great chin
    3) Otherwordly power

This is how both men beat technically superior opponents.

Great chin?? how are people confusing a ****ing BOMB of a right hand that would have knocked out any heavy including Wilder from Wlad a guy that knocked out 54 opponants.. to a flash punch from Ortiz who yes has some power but Wlad caught Joshua so much better with a POWER shot and Joshua rose.. from the looks of that very smaller shot last night I don't think deontays legs would have survived wladamirs shot.. Joshua did good getting up from that

Ortiz hits harder than Wlad. Luis nailed Deontay with multiple flush shots. Any other heavyweight probably goes down; most get stopped.

Wlad, on the other hand, never landed anything else of significance on AJ the rest of the round, tho not for lack of trying.

Wilder showed an extraordinary chin against a guy who hits as hard as AJ does.

He is winning fights a lot like Marciano did back in the day, maximizing his physical gifts to offset the technical superiority of his opponents.

Wlad is probably the hardest hitting HW in history. He had 1 punch KO power in both hands. Sit down you clown.

          Wlad hit hard, yes.

But when it comes to hardest ever, Wlad is down on the list a bit.

And that glass jaw added to him not being anything more than a guy who was dominant in the weakest era the division has ever seen.

No man that lost to Lamon Brewster and Ross Purity is ever going to be considered the best of the best.

          Sorry...

Wilder was part of that era. Now the **** has floated to the top because Wlad isn't there to keep the turds down. THIS IS THE WEAKEST ERA, there's not 1 great fighter in the entire division.

Ortiz knocked out Jennings. Wlad couldn't. Ortiz power > Wlad

                Wlad was really never shyt.

In his prime was when Purrity and Brewster happened.

His "reign" was mostly post-prime and happened against a bunch of no names, has-beens, and never-weres..which tells you how weak the division really was.

Wlad is the most overrated heavyweight in the history of the sport and truly DOES NOT belong in any discussion of top 10 all time heavies.

Thank God the division finally evolved.

i still have a hard time remembering when wilder actually hit the deck?

the way some of these guys talk down about wilder you would have thought he got off the deck...but he never left his feet....which is the point, people defending wilders chin, are trying to make

Wlad would be on any top 10 list of hardest hitting HW in history but according to you Ortiz hits harder, C'mon now.
