Kovalev knows it's fruitless to waste anymore time on Stevenson. They have created new innovation in how to duck a fight.
Run to another network
Run to Al Haymon
Use a purse bid to breach a contract another fighter has with a rival network....
Only Wilder has had more creative ways to duck.
More like "a southpaw with KO power? Absolutely not!"Comment

I get it That Kovalev is still trying to get over Ward but Makhalen was pathetically hapless! That fight did not begin to prepare him for Badou Jack. Much less Adonis whose name he still won't say. I thought the call out was 'I want the winner of Jack/Stevenson'
But he wants Jack if he wins but not Stevenson? Puts to rest the smoke he and Kathy put up to cover the first time they ducked Stevenson.Comment

[QUOTE=HarvardBlue;18540223]Did Compubox really only have Mikhalkin landing 25 punches? I only watched a few minutes and saw him landing at will. That's the Compubox BS again.
Anyway Kovalev and Jack would be a good fight but he seem to be conveniently leaving out Stevenson.[/QUOTE
It's called ducking.Comment

Jack knocks out Stevenson. Stevenson is a joke. Most protected champion in history.Comment

By corruption? Yeah, the weak man's way to own someone is cheating them. Kovalev knows he beat Ward and then got cheated by judges abd referees on the take. You complain about all these injustice yet you side with corruption here lol! You are all fcuking hypocritical double standard idiotsComment

Marcus Browne ducked Gvodzyk as the WBC ordered a title eliminator between them but Browne said no thanks.....
Browne was also offered a fight with Kovalev and declined.
I've checked; Browne did confirm declining a fight against Kovalev.
Jack gave up his wba strap to avoid Bivol.
How giving up the regular WBA to fight Stevenson for the Lineal WBC, is avoiding Bivol?
By the way, who is the Super WBA Champion?
And why Stevenson claimed his next fight was for a unification matchup?
I mean, if Jack vs Stevenson is a Super WBA WBC unification, why Jack would waist his time defending the regular WBA?
Ward retired to avoid hos ibf Mando with Beterbiev.
Humm! Hypothetically, Ward did have the choice to defend his IBO strap against high risk lower reward Beterbiev, or had to follow the logical path of fighting high risk higher reward Stevenson in an Undisputed matchup.
Giving the fact Ward & Hunter were chasing $$$. We guess Ward retired to duck Adonis Stevenson.
Stevenson hasn't fought a mandatory since 2013. Ducked Kovalev and everyone with a pulse fighting just bums....
Humm! 2014, Hopkins ducked Stevenson by swapping networks, from Showtime to HBO.
1st mandatory Jean Pascal 01/18/2014, decided to jeopardize his own mandatory position by rejecting a 30% purse against Stevenson, while offering to fight Kovalev for 40%.
About the 2nd mandatory challenger: Sergey Kovalev. Initially signed his first contract with HBO right after Peter Nelson failed to match Showtime offer to sign Stevenson.
Kovalev ducked 4 WBC purse bids, the 1st duck was made while he was a free agent and mandatory to the WBC.
On 11/28/2015, Kovalev team rejected a dual network deal to fight Stevenson.
Kovalev was mandatory to Stevenson between 03/14/2015 to 11/28/2015...
But Stevenson kept on chasing this clown. Like when Kovalev fled his own interview to avoid a live face off against Stevenson on 01/30/2016.
As Kovalev, Alvarez claimed he wasn't ready for a high caliber southpaw like Stevenson. So they feed him with southpaws til he claims he was ready to fight the WBC Champ, which he did 1 year ago when he defeated Bute; 02/24/2017.
But Stevenson is not the one taking side money instead of fighting for glory. Its not Stevenson fault if Alvarez isn't confident enough to try to fight for the lineal WBC title.
Every one of your fighters are cowards today. They ate on paper ducking title fights or eliminators just to avoid the Eastern European fighters dominating boxing. I'd be embarrassed not only as a man but as a people for supporting cowardice.
Kovalev says: "I'm not ready for southpaws". Again, Kovalev says: "I would fight Badou Jack".
Troll, don't try to twist the fact, that Kovalev is ducking Stevenson as always. Your juiced up east european fighters are declining. Around the age of 35 we all noticed what's happening to Beterbiev. Or Kovalev difficulties to absorb body shots or incapacity to follow higher level training.
The metabolism can't maintain a high peak performance for long under PEDS. Mostly you russians, you should know that!Ukranian Russian "the same", PED pros...
TROLL
More than 70 posts in one single day, must be a "Main Events" employee, mandated by Kathy Duva to fix the embarrassing truth which came out from Kovalev mouth.Last edited by TheThirdEye; 03-06-2018, 04:04 AM.Comment

You still haven't come clean about Browne refusing to fight Gvodzyk in a wbc eliminator.
Stevenson haant fought a mando since 2013 and you make excuses to show Stevenson fighting absolutely bums once a year since then lol! Even Hopkins admitted Stevenson didn't want the fight and his negotiating was ridiculous. The man is a fake protected champ Haymon needed to block other promotion from unification.
Only fighter who truly ducked Steven's was Ward. At 168 .Comment

Funny how Stevenson gets defended for being protected and fighting bums.....Amazing double standard today. I mean if Kovalev fought Stevenson schedule last five years you all would be rioting in the streets .....Is it just biased racial or nationalist feelings or are you working for PBC?Comment
