I thought Tyson was the hardest puncher I've seen at Heavyweight but he hits even harder than Mike Tyson. He has scary power.

Deontay just knocked out a world class fighter 30 lbs heavier who has never been down or out. he's on his own tier.
I didn't say he had the best chin or boxing ability.. watch his highlights, they're the most ruthless ko's possible.

did his power carry at higher weight class or did he stay at middle?

Deontay Wilder is outweighed by all his opponents when he sparks them out cold.

this is the definition of p4p

He's a completely overrated puncher. Ron Lyle took his power and beat his ass.
His reputation as a hard puncher is well known from his opponents speaking of this, that doesn’t mean he can lose or get his as* beat! Julian Jackson got his as* beat, G-man got his as* beat... so that point his muted in my humble opinion.

all the people that named him the hardest puncher

                Ron Lyle

                Larry Holmes

                Muhammad Ali

all took his power and beat his ass. This is a fact.

I say he does because when he puts guys down they stay down. They rarely get up.

Like i said before losing doesn’t mean you don’t have 1 power KO. They beat his as* but still called him the hardest punch they ever face... those are facts.

Don’t really want to turn these into different thread, tonight is about Wilder. So nice chatting with ya.

I'm not convinced AJ sparks him, but it's very possible. I've never been confident that Wilder beats AJ. I've only been confident that Hearn considered Wilder the biggest threat.

After tonight, there should be no doubt that Wilder, at worst is the #2 heavyweight in the world. I have AJ #1 in my rankings and unless Parker gives him trouble, I likely keep him at #1.

But I do agree that Wilder may be the hardest puncher ever. He's so technically flawed. He's so limited. And yet, that right hand just bails him out over and over. It's crazy.
