Is Wilder weight loss fishy?

Maybe he has the hiv. Or maybe Fury isn't the only heavyweight who likes *******. Or possibly there is a double who plays him. Could be all kinds of things. I'm not even convinced he lost any weight. I never saw Wilder last year or this year or ever in person. They can do all kinds of photoshopping and video gimmicks to make someone look a tiny bit bigger or smaller no problem. Maybe Wilder is actually gaining weight, but everyone is trying to convince us he's losing weight. Like I said, could be all kinds of things.Comment

Your prediction may well be true, and Wilder might win, but I'm one of the people that think Ortiz has not fought competitively for 2 years and has visibly slowed down...... very much like Stiverne, both 38 and inactive and looked like **** in their last fights.......maybe Ortiz will surprise me, but I try to think logically, and no guy that age with Ortiz record and momentum has ever been goodComment

Stiverne was never a serious boxer, he never went into camps and pushed himself, have you heard of Stiverne going into Klitschko or Haye camps? Wilder did, Joshua did, Fury did...... Stiverne apparently gets battered by low level opponents and then claims he was going easy on them, pathetic piece of **** who is all ego and not willing to push himself...... I'm not a fan of Wilder or Joshua.... but they have my respect for turning up in shape and ready to fight....... guys like Stiverne..... disgrace to boxingComment

With as hard as he hits the weight doesn’t matter. Not only that but being honest, getting tagged by a huge left hand by Ortiz at either 215 or 230 is going to hurt him. Likewise for Joshua in the potential future. A little less weight might mean he’s been working better in camp too. Maybe working on moving more and using his jab. He knows he hits hard and will probably not be able to bullrush someone like Joshua or Ortiz so he should be prepared to use his length to soften em up with jabs for the later rounds. Joshua has stamina “issues” and Ortiz is “old” so taking them into deep waters is physically a good move.
If he wasn’t a huge puncher I’d worry as people would just lean on him and overwhelm him with size and power since he lacks a certain finesse about him but that power is a real threat.Comment

Four months ago he weighed in at 221 now he comes in 215lbs.
He must have done more road work and possibly brought his work rate up also.
I think he'll look to control distance using angles and moving his jab up and down. If he takes to Ortiz I'll be surprised but he has the best seat to look into Ortiz's eyes!
As far as standings and what I've seen from both in the past few years this is the best heavyweight fight out there right now.
Joshua and Parker is the next best, hopefully the winners match up and the losers do too.
Ring the damn bell, fight hard I hope they stay safe........

Some of you seem to be missing the point. I'm not saying it's impossible to lose the weight. My question is.
What is the point of losing 15 pounds when you are already a skinny HW?
But I get what others commented. Maybe he's worked different this time, looking for something else.
More conditioning and not so much power.Comment
