It's pretty obvious why he's bringing up Klitschko, and no, it's not in order to compliment Ortiz.

I don't know how Ortiz is going to look in this fight, but if he's truly dangerous (which is very possible) then Wilder will have made a huge mistake by being so focussed on AJ in the lead up.

I don't know. A primed Luis Ortiz was stronger than a bull. He punch like a mule. I don't know about now but that Luis Ortiz would have knocked Klitschko out. When Wladimir Klitschko had the chance and free to fight a legitimate champion ( Deontay Wilder) he picked a guy with a win over Charles Martin. But the 'Bronze-Bomber' had a top five win on his record and held the title he so longed for -- the belt his superior brother held....yes I remember what Vitali said....'My brother holds more titles but I hold the belt that matters'.
