You could at least make an argument that Ortiz has a similar level of skills, but "much more"?... no.

I wouldn't really have a problem with this, it's just that Wilder needs to stop thinking about AJ and show Ortiz a little more respect.

I would argue that saying that Ortiz has much more skills than one of the longest running HW Champs is showing a lot of respect.

So Eddie Hearn is basically a racist and Ortiz is better than Klitschko. I still think Wilder will win, but now I’m rooting for Ortiz to knock him through the ropes.

Like Ortiz said he's a clown. Making ****** statements like that. And Tyson and Lewis stuff. A washed up Tyson would beat wilder. Ortiz better chin than Wladdy but not the better boxer. Wilder is a disgrace making statements like that and what he has brought to that one title he has. Fighting nothing but unranked bums. Prince Charles Martin was way better than him. At least Martin took on the divisions best fighter in his first failed title defense unlike wilder fighting the divisions worst, Erik Molina. Garbage.

            Great post, agreed.

So overrated that Wilder pissed his pants asked about Klitchko fight? He got whooped in sparing and wanted none of that.

It's pretty obvious why he's bringing up Klitschko, and no, it's not in order to compliment Ortiz.

I don't know how Ortiz is going to look in this fight, but if he's truly dangerous (which is very possible) then Wilder will have made a huge mistake by being so focussed on AJ in the lead up.

I don't know. A primed Luis Ortiz was stronger than a bull. He punch like a mule. I don't know about now but that Luis Ortiz would have knocked Klitschko out. In addition, of course, the entire region of the U.K. Would be tuning in watching the fight tonight; Including Anthony Joshua. Who would want to miss this fight?

When Wladimir Klitschko had the chance and free to fight a legitimate champion ( Deontay Wilder) he picked a guy with a win over Charles Martin. But the 'Bronze-Bomber' had a top five win on his record and held the title he so longed for -- the belt his superior brother held....yes I remember what Vitali said....'My brother holds more titles but I hold the belt that matters'.
