When a trainer or fighter says another boxer moved to much, they expose themselves

It either means they can not cut off the ring or their legs are not what they use to be. When you start hearing bull**** like that you are hearing the truth about the fighter complaining

    Interesting perspective, rings true.
    Wonder who you're referring to?!

Agree somewhat l, hate The he moved to much excuse

Think this is Most likely a thread directed at GGg/ Abel

But it’s the same excuse used when Canelo fought Lara. Saying he was a runner and not entertaining and blah blah blah and that’s why there’ll never be a rematch

Knowing he should have lost that fight and got lucky with the win. Now all of a sudden it’s a Ok strategy to use against Gennady

Canelo and his fans can’t have it both ways and Canelo should have lost both those fights

Agree to an extent but as much as I love the science behind boxing and educated footwork, lateral movement, setting traps and so on when you have a guy that is so experienced, flat out running its practically impossible to cut the ring off on them. I think the term running is very overused but there are times where fighters do literally just that.
Its easy to say cut the ring off, invest in the body but when you've got a guy in survival mode that won't lead or engage at all you're basically left chasing shadows.

Malik Scott, Lara to me its far too excessive to the point its now turned into more a race than it is boxing.

I'm not 1 to point fingers.........BUT Manny used that excuse vs TBE, and recently Sanchez used it. Manny was the only person that had never seen a recent Floyd fight before they fought.....
GGG was touted as being great at cutting off the ring....until he faced competition. So heres two fingers for the both of them

How did you score the GGG vs Canelo fight since that is what you are talking about?

I think Sanchez is trying to get under Canelo's skin. To be honest, it's been working.

Mayweather got under his skin with the whole catch weight thing especially when he said he was dumb for agreeing to take the catch weight. It was subtle but Canelo came off as a whiny teenager... The same thing he's doing now.

Nothing to do with winning. Its usually an excuse as to why a fight was boring or a knockout didnt happen. Most fighters who spent the fight chasing their opponent think they won.
