    In some ways it's true

But the most recent example------abel is simply trying to bait canelo into a dog fight which would favor GGG, he's hoping to get under his skin with the whole "you don't fight like a mexican thing" it's all a mental game.

Excessive movement is extremely difficult to stop without putting yourself at a risk, that's why boxers use movement, keeps them safe and makes their opponent have to put themselves at risk to stop them. Expecting an opponent to expose themselves (the stalker) because the other won't (the mover) is pretty hypocritical. Use of good movement is expected but it is also a lot safer than trying to stop movement.

To me, movement should be used to mitigate damage/create openings, not stall the fight. To favor movement as some superior tactic is BS, if both fighters just move, there is no damn fight.

Who complains about too much movement? I think fighters and trainers complain about too much running.

Yeah that movement/running from Canelo cost him the fight. He has to make some significant changes to win. He lost by four rounds and other rounds were close. So if Canelo doesn't change up and Golovkin improves slightly Golovkin will humiliate him.

nonsense. if you are gonna trash someone in the build up, you cant get away with running and not engaging. his negativity is why 90 percent of people think ggg won (the lunatics on this forum dont reflect the general public opinion). people on this forum dont seem to understand that running doesnt mean outboxing someone, i swear being the aggressor is actually seen as a negative on here

Boxing on the move ala Pep or Ali is using movement as an offense and defense. Canelo's percentage of time "on the move" was not leading to jabs or combination punching. When he did step up he did well so it is puzzling why he didn't engage GGG more often. He didn't do it enough to win in my opinion.

The fans on this forum were taught by Mayweather's success that running and working minimally off that motion is a formula for success. Floyd only got away with that methodology as a welter when he was the fighter, promoter, matchmaker and referee ha)
As a young fighter he earned his success using good movement to set up offense. People forget the Mayweather from 130lbs they only remember the "Vegas Cash Cow" version.

You can't run from corner to corner without throwing any punches, that's running when it is continuously repeated.
Some take the side that the aggressor was "ineffective" or didn't cut the ring off sharp enough. That maybe true but when your the aggressor and the one retreating is NOT engaging your winning by the runner's "default to engage"!

no its just to try and get under canelos skin and make him stand his ground because they know boxing just like we do and canelo has all the a-side advantages so they need a knockout. if canelo does the same exact thing he gets the decision. unfortunately for the fans floyd and canelo know that they dont have to take any risks to win so they stick with that style
