Exactly the point I was about to make - this guy served a punishment for PEDs. Got a title shot WHICH WBC SANCTIONED. Came in clean, did everything he was supposed to do there. Missed weight - so he lost the title on the scale (punishment).

Why is he being suspended? No, the weight advantage isn't necessarily good, but he was punished for it. Losing the title = losing money.

If they were really upset about it why let the fight go on?

And another thing - if this is such a problem why when Nick Walters did the same crap against Lomachenko, same punishment, stripped of the title on the scale, yet he was allowed to continue without suspension? I see that was WBA, not WBC, which makes it even more suspect.

Is it only a problem when WBC's favored fighter gets manhandled but not if they win? So if Yamanaka had won, they would let Nery off the hook?

The organizations can't do nothing when the opposite side agrees to the contest, yamanaka gave green light for the fight with the condition that Neri would not rehydrate more than 126 lbs and pay him some penalty money, so in this case and in and all others is the aggravated fighter who decides not the organizations.

Of course they can...they just did, they suspended this cat. Sh^t if they can suspend him after the fight why couldn't they suspend him before the fight? Miss weight for a title fight & bam you're suspended.

And I believe they fined Alexander Povetkin money for his PED usage situation. These abc groups got some power.

I'm just speculating on some other sh^t that could be done like punishing the offender MORE MONEY when they come in over to push the option to cancel the fight more on them & to make them look bad.
