And there was not an advantage to Nery in this fight.

Guy looked like a zombie in the weight in, Yamanaka controlled the rehydration of his weight.
What other champion is going to want to risk getting screwed? Ryan Burnett? this fraud is going to have to fight some eliminator to get a opportunity -- he cant be trusted.

So you get suspended indefinitely for missing weight? If so, why didn't they issue the suspension immediately after he failed to make weight? Yamanaka was the A-side here, he had the option of pulling out while Nery would have been sent home without a title or a payday, but Yamanaka's side chose to proceed with the contest and Nery met their terms by coming in well under their same day weight limit. It seems more like the WBC is trying to appease the Japanese boxing public who were unhappy with the outcome. There's no way they would have made a similar ruling if had involved a higher profile fighter.

Yamanaka was going to fight anyway, even at a weight disadvantage. The TV company had already allotted that time, and all the sponsors had booked their time slots. He's a Japanese warrior. He expected Neri to come in on weight, on time, and respecting the fight game. I had a short talk with Inoue's uncle and he said it was discraceful of Neri to come in like that.

To me it kind of looks like that drug test he failed wasn't because of "tainted beef" at all but the WBC gave him a pass for it and agreed to accept his nonsense excuse, only now they're basically rescinding that because him failing to make weight was like a double insult. It's the only way it makes sense to me, I've never seen anyone get suspended just for missing weight before even when they've missed it badly like he did. Normally getting stripped of the title would be enough.

He was given a pass by the WBC for pissing dirty, then spun around and slapped them in the face by coming in 5lbs overweight. Of course they are going to make an example of him, he made them look foolish.

That guy is whiny crybaby - he tries to come off like he knows about boxing, but the more you read his post you can tell hes a poser, a MMA fan in reality - comes here when they got nothing going.

I think its part of the Japanese culture not to back down.. (back out of the fight)

                So he accepted.

Yamanaka accepted because Nery did what they ordened.

Yamanaka thought that Nery will be drained as hell.

                  Exactly.

WBC has a great relation with Honda and the comission of Japan.

Back to back KOs for the Mexican. They should be easier on Nery. He gave it all he had.
