Racist is the correct word that can be used in this context, because the English language is made up of denotations and connotations. Racism has a connotation with regards to disparaging remarks being made to nationality, religion etc.

Anyway, I don't think Nery has used that defence lol

On Nery and the fight, why did the WBC let it go ahead, if they are going to take such a stance on the circumstances?

I see your point, but I think the connotation is a bit stretched here -- painting with a broad brush. Is someone a "racist" if they hate Catholics or Baptists, or Women, or people from New Jersey? I don't think so. I do think that people who hate brown-skinned Mexicans, but do not hate fair-skinned Mexicans of European descent are racist, but if they hate all Mexicans regardless of their race that is bigotry. Anyway, these days, racism vs bigotry might be a distinction without a difference.

        That's the whole point.

Anyway it is irrelevant to Nery, who as much as I dislike him, hasn't blamed racism yet.

All these A sides get advantages & make their own rules cuz they bring in the money & get paid the insane money. This lesser known guy tried to get an advantage & make his own rules & he just found out he's not in a high enough class to get away with it lol.
          Absolutely agree
