    i will give him some credit but it wont be some earth shattering win due to ortiz's age. but it will be wilders best win to date IF he manages it.

      First, these aren't critics, they are haters. They are going to hate no matter what. The more a fighter they hate wins, the more they hate him.

      With that being said, Ortiz is nothing special. He is old and fat and has some power, but nothing crazy. Honestly, this Ortiz is about the same level as the first Stiverne fight.

        Why is WILDER willing to fight Ortiz but not Povetkin? Hmmmmm because Ortiz is controlled by Haymon.

        Why won't bumsquad fight Dylan WHYTE fir a record high payday? Same reason....

        So let's cut the bs and call it for what it is. Nbody trusts al.haymon and this garbage talking half wit with no substance. Remember an empty pot makes the most noise.
        Because Povetkin failed a test when they were to fight and again when he had to fight Stiverne for the mandatory spot and he is now mandatory to both Parker and Joshua. And really, Whyte? Ortiz is levels above him, if you discredit Wilder for getting the challenge instead of the money you hate boxing

          Wilder never fought Klitschko or anyone in the top 30 other than an overrated Stiverne the first fight.
          Wilder calls out AJ and wants it at 50/50, but he can't even sell out Barclays Center
          The last three Wilder fights were Stiverne, Arreola and Washington...yuck
          This is basically the first time he's stepped up in 39 fights. AJ has 20 fights and 3 belts...while working on a 4th
          The real reason Wilder is calling out AJ is because AJ will make him rich. Also because Parker and his team did the same thing and it worked.
          If you think Wilder should give up the challenge to get the money you hate boxing;
          Wilder and Klitschko were both champions less than a year, how much unifications you see in this time? After this Wlad only wanted his belts back and than a money fight to retire. Fury drugged himself out of the game, Povetkin cheated in two chances and now his fighting Ortiz even with all the problems on the first try;
          Wilder already said he will take the fight for whatever offer come if in the rematch (that only happens if wins tbh) they take the same
          So what? The "names" in the division weren't around for the reasons listed above, he had to fight someone;
          I already listed reasons why he didn't fought the names above, the only name in Joshua's resume is Klitschko, who choose the money instead of risk, the same is happening with Parker now;
          The reason why he wants Joshua is because they are arguably the best right now, and regardless, why wouldn't you want to see this fight?

            Please take out the pic of Gassiev, he is a great fighter and don't deserve to be connected to your shame. On a side note, you are looking very bad now with this post

              WADA cleared Povetkin vs wilder on the spot. Povetkinhad trace residual elements of a non steep is Meldonium which wasn't in any violation of anti doping.

              The same trace elements showed up when tested against Stiverne when Ostarine which is a drug used in cattle overseas was found in picket kind system not enough to be in violation of doping, but like wilder, Stiverne refused to fight and negotiated that as a mandate to become Wilder's mandatory. The WBC screwed Povetkin but the cowards in the USA like the Wilder's and Stivernes show their inferiority as men and fighters vs Fighters like povetkin.

              Keep defending cowards and corruption.

                    The only coward here is the guy taking peds. If he was cleared why didn't WBC put him back as mandatory? The money cleared him, that's it
