Just sour g****s on Kovs part

I thought he was drugged in the second fight

Must burn that’s racists soul that a black man beat him twice and in the second fight made him basically give up

They keep quoting him selectively. Kovalev has said many times Ward never beat him, that the judges robbed him the first time and the ref the second time. Not that it really matters, Kovalev could not even spar 12 rounds in the gym going into those fights because he was drinking and so on, which Ward knew, and is probably the only reason Ward finally agreed to fight him. They had spies in Kovalev's camp and they chose to fight him only once they heard he was no longer the Krusher, banking on fans ignorance that fans would still think Ward had beaten the Krusher when in reality it was no longer the same guy. Unfortunately Ward also overrated his own abilities, so even past prime Kovalev still gave Ward all he could handle and more, which is why Ward needed the help of others like the judges and the refs to give him "wins."

But the past is the past. Ward "retired" right when his division was the hottest any division Ward has competed in has ever been his entire career. Meanwhile, Kovalev is still trying to fight all the best guys. THAT is the mark of who the true champion is, not records, not even head to head official results necessarily, otherwise all the Ward fanboys here who are probably also huge BHop and RJJ fans would have to admit that Joe Calzaghe is better than BHop and RJJ.

I mean hell, Calzaghe beat them way more cleanly than Ward "beat" Kovalev. The only thing you can say is that BHop and RJJ were no longer in their primes... well, clearly, neither was Kovalev if he couldn't go 12 rounds even in sparring, and if he was gassing after 3-4 rounds against Isaac Chilemba before he ever fought Ward.

So, just be consistent, "boxing" fans. If you can't employ consistent standards, then just don't say anything at all. Don't try to overrate Ward off this and **** on Kovalev unless you're also prepared to rate Calzaghe above RJJ and BHop and **** on them for losing to Calzaghe. Just be consistent.

Best to let your feelings out. Not keep it inside.

              now thats some fancy rubbish

according to camp kov, hes been drinking his whole career. its an issue NOW because he lost.

lesson, dont be a ''drunk mess'' when youre fighting a quality guy.

              drunk, sober, cw....ward will win

If it was an option I bet he wouldn't sign that contract again.

In the first fight Kovalev won. In the second fight there unfair stoppage and Ward fought very dirty. Low blow low blow low blow!

What happened to that humble Kovalev from his build-up for his Shabranskyy fight? He's turning into Doevalev.

I thought he had a more reflective and serene outlook on his life after the accident? Has he gone back to binge drinking?
