It's a duck because Thurman doesn't want to take the toughest fight possible in his first fight after a major injury when the fight hasn't even been built up yet?

I specifically mentioned thurman not wanting to take a the fight AT ALL this year, so yes, that is a duck. Again, if you don't want to admit it, it's fine but in your heart you know it's true.

Had nothing to do with what Thurman wants. He's a unified champion and has obligations. Overdue mandatories. Not to mention whatever Haymon has in mind for how he wants to develop Spence. Just because Thurman was honest about the fact that the fight isn't in the plans for this year doesn't mean he's ducking Spence. Most people don't even know who Spence is yet. He just headlined Showtime Championship Boxing as the A-side for the first time ever. Give the dude a chance to get a couple defenses under his belt and give the public time to find out he exists.

If Thurman and Spence keep winning, they are destined to fight. Just like Thurman and Garcia were. Just like Thurman and Porter were. All of these guys are going to fight each other. Just not at the exact moment you prefer. They will fight at the moment Haymon prefers.

I'd say he's gonna take one very easy fight then maybe the porter or Garcia rematch. Then in mid/late 2019 we get the Spence fight.

Meanwhile we have Spence fighting Peterson and some mandatory guy. He's not injured and Haymon has control of the whole division basically. Why not get us a fight with Porter or Garcia next? Stop giving guys like Garcia easy fights when the guy is not even coming off injury, He's just someone who takes 10 months off between fights for no reason.

Problem is, the likes of you only see colour and even though you know its a duck, cant bring yourself to say it.
Hold on? I only see color? Not sure what that even means as I'm Italian American and neither of these guys looks anything like me lol.

Thurman will fight a layup in the spring then a Garcia or Porter rematch, then Spence next year. Meanwhile, who's Spence fighting? Peterson and some mandatory is not exactly beating the best of the best. How about he fights someone top 5 while waiting for Thurman in the winter. Cherry picking Garcia should be the fight. Time to stop letting that guy get easy money.

                • Ocampo's camp is looking for lightening in a bottle. No way he should be in there. If we are honest Spence should be fighting guys like this every two months. Kind of like what Tyson did.

Which is how he lucked into a title shot despite being #3.
True. I should've posted highest ranked IBF contender instead of #1 because he is the defacto #1 gven IBF has top spots open.
