An ESPN.com report early Wednesday morning stated that promoters for Spence, the unbeaten IBF welterweight champion, and mandatory challenger Carlos Ocampo have reached an agreement for them to fight that night. Showtime will televise the Spence-Ocampo match from an undetermined venue in the Dallas area.

I can't believe Zanfer and Fernando Beltran would put Ocampo in this fight against Spence because Ocampo isn't ready for a guy like Spence at this point. Ocampo needed another 3-4 fights with a better level of competition in each fight leading up to a fight against Spence but now they're rushing this kid into a fight he's not ready for.

Arguably Ocampo's best W is Jorge Paez Jr. There are a couple other wins he gots in & around that same level. This guy doesn't have a top 50 opponent W on his f#cking record lol. Rankings are so terribad in this sport.
