It is just Spence wants to keep his belt. That he won by beating the #2 ww in his hometown halfway across the globe. He followed that up with Peterson, the best ww willing to face him.

Ocampo is a mandatory idiot. That means the IBF is forcing Spence to fight Ocampo next or vacate his title. Now, if you wanted to complain that Spence isn't fighting until mid-June to fight a complete tomato can, than I would be with you. He should be fighting Ocampo this weekend and Ugas next month.

Keep up the hate though. I get it, you have to attack mandatories, because if not you would have no reason to cry about The Truth. Jesus Christ can people stop with the "Thurman is ducking Spence" bull ****. The guy fought Porter and Garcia and got hurt and hasn't fought since. You want the mfer to come back and fight Errol Spence his first fight back in action? Of course you do, because you have no common sense. They'll fight after Thurman ****s out a couple comeback fights and feels healthy.

The question is how many fights does he need. I get one fight, but any more abd hes ducking. Guys have come off of worse **** and taken rough challenges.

My bad. I have to say Spence is my favorite current fighter, but I absolutely hate that he isn't fighting until June. Dude barely broke a sweat against Peterson, and if he is nice to Ocampo he will ko him in the first or second round. The longer Spence goes, just dishing out damage, but not enough at once to get a ko or a stoppage and this kid could get hurt.

I guess I get not wanting to take any unnecessary risk by fighting for less than top dollar, but if you have to wait six months for a good date on showtime or whatever, go ahead and go knock some small time mandatories like Ocampo out on FS1 between the regular twice a year fights. Might make half as much fighting on FS1, but that would still build a huge following. With Spence's brutality, he should be regarded as the most vicious, dangerous boxer since Mike Tyson. Fighting twice a year won't get that done though.

Thurman had his last fight last year, by the time he fights next he would have been out of the ring almost a year. The whole point was that he fought someone else and then Spence later in the year but he has already made a statement saying he wont fight him this year.

Thats a duck. We're not talking about contenders or a prospect, we're talking about a world champion refusing to fight another world champion.

Problem is, the likes of you only see colour and even though you know its a duck, cant bring yourself to say it.
