Ocampo looks like what you'd get if Victor Ortiz was weight drained.

Anyway, you guys, stop kiboshing the fight. Maybe the guy will pull a Jeff Horn.

Theres still other guys out there though. Fighting this guy is a waste of time for all parties except the IBF & this cats bank account.

And I'm still legit curious how this guy won his mandatory cuz don't you gotta win your mandatory with the IBF?

Boxing is such a letdown so often with its matchmaking. I swear if you are 78 years old you might as well switch over to MMA cuz its very likely you ain't gonna live to see the big fights you wanna see lol.

Ain't no Make A Wish boxing fans thats for sure. You'd never get your wish before you die like those Star Wars fans will get to see Star Wars 9 in 2019. Thurman will send a card & some flowers to your funeral doe.

Anyone who thinks Spence is "cherry picking" doesn't understand how boxing works. If Spence didn't fight his mandatory, the IBF would strip him of his belt (considering a unification wasn't possible). The IBF is much stricter than the other organizations.

Normally and IBF mandatory is entitled to 25%. However, since Ocampo never fought an eliminator and isn't ranked in the top two, I believe he's only entitled to 15%.

When Konstantin Ponomarev was moved from #4 to #9 for refusing the eliminator, Vargas entered the rankings at #4. Ocampo's spot was already solidified at that point and nobody was going to be able to jump him.

Ratings organizations rate the best fighters currently pursuing their title, not the best fighters in general. IBF ratings are not designed to determine the best fighters in the world, they determine the best fighters in the IBF.

I thought Ugas was the mandatory but I guess you got to get these guys out of the way. I don't mind top fighters fighting guys that have earned their position.

Now that Spence has a fight lined up you are going to see other guys saying that the want him or at least talk about him.

                    • Get the mandatory out of the way then move on to bigger and better things.

Hopefully Thurman, Garcia, and Porter will stop ducking Spence.
