Spence wants to stay active and stay sharp. What is he supposed to do? The so-called killas in the division are acting scared. Even Danny Garcia's dad won't talk **** about Errol. Haha. And that mf talks **** to everybody. He knows that Danny Garcia could never recover from the beating that he would receive. Crawford hasnt even fought at 147 and doesnt even have a belt. It's no foregone conclusion that he gets through Jeff Horn unscathed.

Too much to ask for of a 23 yo.
2 top 20s and a 1O and I go for it.
But his team has to think....if he doesn't enforce it, Spence could fight the next available IBF top 5, pushing the fight back a full yr plus.
And the IBF would also likely allow Spence to challenge for the LMW title giving him another 6 months.
During any time, a unification fight could again postpone it.

I don't think a year or more would be bad for him. He's 22 with nothing close to a signature win on his record. He's a prospect if we are being real. He's just a prospect who got highly ranked cuz the ranking system is sketchy at best, corrupt at worst.

Team gotta think about that the 350k and a hail Mary are worth it the obvious L.
Stepping up in levels is best, but may as well see exactly how much he needs to improve in 3/4 yrs while the division evolves.

But I see less worth taking a chance on here. I think he's about 3 levels below Spence right now. If not more. I don't think thats a great jump to make if you wanna have the best career you can have. It says money grab to me. And I'd suspect this fight will define his career more than likely. He'll likely lose very one sidedly. Win a couple vs lesser guys then he's been fighting to get back in the W column. Then get thrown in there with some other guy too good for him at 23 or 24 once again. Rinse & repeat til they milk the money.

Arguably Ocampo's best W is Jorge Paez Jr. There are a couple other wins he gots in & around that same level. This guy doesn't have a top 50 opponent W on his f#cking record lol. Rankings are so terribad in this sport.

I agree. At the very least he should have had to earn the shot by winning an eliminator against the next highest ranked contender (currently Jessie Vargas) and let Spence make another voluntary defense in the meantime.

you are a complete idiot. Spence gave Mayweather much needed young energetic sparring work for the pacquiao fight. Floyd eventually figured him out and took over the sparring session. STFU and respect the sport.
